  1. Yes and I would hope it is closer to 300,000 than 2 million
  2. Maybe becuase that is what he is worth? Bell got in the league 1 team of the season and he cost 300,000. The only ones extracting the urine here are Charlton looking for 2 million
  3. So it would seem our main targets on permanent deals are ;Chapman, Bauer, Armstrong, Maddison and Roofe. I can't see us signing all of them, so if I had to pick 3 I would go for Armstrong, Bauer and Maddison. That would leave us needing to sign a striker on loan and another winger. So Kent from Liverpool would tick the winger box. Then we just need to find a Mitrovic like Fulham did last season. Going to be a helter skelter few weeks before this window closes
  4. Hard to be that player when he has never gotten a chance to settle anywhere. On a free we could do a lot worse.
  5. Todd Kane available on a free from Chelsea. He would be great competition for Nyambe.
  6. This window is more difficult than even Mowbray expected. I don't see a single club in the championship doing business that I am jealous of. Do you? Every club in the Championship uses the loan market. You can find real talent there. It worked well for us last year and I hope Mowbray can recreate that and integrate the lads into the squad. Not sure what the issue is?
  7. Perhaps not in Boltons case, but if we went up, I would have no problem with the players having such a bonus structure. In the first season back up at least
  8. Calm. The window is mental. Every team is struggling. We have done well to get 2 in. I really don't think fans appreciate how difficult it is to sign players. Add in that this is a world cup year and you have a really challenging job. What do you suggest is done to speed up the process? Every fan at every club wants to know the secret
  9. If we got promoted to the Premiership, would you think it acceptable that the players have a clause that rewards them for staying up?
  10. You can't use them not playing as some defence, they aren't your players anymore. It would be like us saying you're lucky we didn't beat you by more only we were missing; Phil Jones, Tom Cairney and Josh King Whoever you have played so far, the point stands that you have a European qualifier coming up so should expect top be sharper than our lads who were on beaches up to a few days ago. Our squad cost very little on fees. We are lucky we now have a good manager who has built a good team. Confidence is high too after doing well last year, albeit at a level or 2 lower than we would like. Best of luck for the season too. I hope your performance levels pick up for the European qualifier
  11. Not misquoting anything, you said what you said! See below
  12. Maybe not a fully fledged Celtic legend, but not far off it.
  13. Did Mowbray say that? So because of Gladwin he said he won't sign players who played well against his teams. That would be a strange policy. So you have a link to these quotes? I really don't recall him saying that. I remember people on here saying it alright
  14. I think was JacknOrys point I think mowbray is interested, but no benefit in sounding too enthusiastic. A good few times he has mentioned how having someone like Chapman in a team can hurt the opposition
  15. I got the impression he is keen. Funny how two people can read completely different things from the same quotes
  16. I forgot about Caddis. I doubt he will go, unless maybe a loan to League 1. When did you see Hart playing? I would say he will be with the under 23s or out on loan , going off last season anyway. The fact that he went to Rochdale and played so little does not bode well
  17. The 4 of them in would be the finest! A centre half on loan and we would be set.
  18. He basically says if you want to get players in early, you will pay more for the privilege. Football is a mental business really.
  19. Got a date so. Thats great. Deffo going to purchase one
  20. I reckon we are working on that. I would also imagine our valuations are far apart. I can see it happening with a hefty sell on and/or buy back option. Could go right to the end of the window though. The good thing is that we are his preferred destination, that counts for a lot.
