  1. Our fabulous owners, who get an unfair bad press, just because of making illegal payments and now have to go to court for permission to fulfill their obligations. Humble people who have just been badly advised. My heart bleeds.
  2. Hope he gets jailed for that. No place in society for scum like that let alone football. At 44 you would think he would know better, but clearly not.
  3. It says in the fans forum minutes, the court hearing doesn’t affect the club.
  4. And Waggott has the brass neck to keep spouting how committed the owners are and how they never fail to sign a cheque.
  5. Norwich are not definitely in the play offs. Highly likely due to the goal difference, but I can’t imagine them playing a weakened team and risking a heavy defeat.
  6. It was possible to buy a season long pass for Rovers TV this year and watch all league games, if you live abroad. I paid £140 for that and granted I didn’t make any encouraging noises to spur the players on!!! but did pay when I know some choose to watch free streams. I did manage a couple of games too when back and did tend to plan my trips back around Rovers games, so it is possible to do from abroad. Whether the owners CEO and played deserve that is up for debate.
  7. Someone described him as a fine manager on here today. He is probably a fined manager for his red card, but that’s about it.
  8. A liner with a cargo of Viagra has sunk in the Atlantic. Raised the Titanic.
  9. I bought some of them new Viagra eye drops. They have done nothing for my love life but have made me look hard.
  10. Waggott pointed out yet again on Tuesday night at the awards night, just how luck we are to have such wonderful owners.
  11. Hopefully we won’t be, but by 6.00pm tomorrow, we could be 0 points clear of 22nd.
  12. Greg should be all over it being the master of spotting these things and a leg end in his own lunchtime. Just in case he isn’t, can you send him an E Mail. Make sure you press send and not save, as we don’t want to be giving him any excuses.
  13. It's quite a sobering thought having to look forward to a relegation battle every season. Obviously we may still go down this season, but if not, then dependant on the prices, it could be worth letting Waggott know we want some assurances on the owners funding and aims for the coming season, before renewing. It is all well and good being a loyal fan, but they are now trying the patience of the most ardent amongst us.
  14. No wins at Ewood in 8 attempts for starters. I’m a Rovers fan and if I see a manager coming out with sound bites and making out things are all rosey, when I can clearly see the exact opposite, he becomes unpopular in my mind. If I feel that way, unless I am the exception, then I suspect others will too. Do you have any evidence that he is popular and do you feel in your heart of hearts that he is popular either with you, or the fans in general?
  15. The difference between JDT’s style of football and demeanor and enthusiasm compared to Mowbray are poles apart. As was being eluded to here, had he been backed, not only was he likely to get us up, he would have done it in style. That ship has sailed and will not be back in the harbor any time soon.
  16. Prepare for the doomsday scenario, as we are highly likely in my opinion, to be relying on that to fund running costs. We have already been lied to once about the tax changes, thinly disguised as illegal payments made by the owners, which in turn led to court permission to release funds. This was then a sure thing come February according to Waggott and again in March, which as we all now know, is now a sue thing in August, but I see it as being far from certain. The club celebrated the ladies team, getting a top six place last night and presented various prizes for the achievements of both the men and ladies sides. No mention of the abject failure, just a quick one liner from the CEO to say, how wonderful the owners are, despite what some people think. Next summers failed marquee transfer excuse is being thought up in the corridors in Pune I suspect, as they never fail to sign a cheque and it isn't their fault that people are pressing the wrong buttons in a dark dingy office in down town Blackburn.
  17. It's been tried, with no joy so far. He looked entrenched to me last night, but just stood back observing and did not get involved. As we already know, he is running it and Waggott is just a stooge.
