  1. I haven’t listened to a single interview yet. I get the impression, he has been place there to simply toe the line and take the spotlight off others. I was told on Friday by a respected National press reporter, that he does not like talking to the media and is very uncomfortable doing so.
  2. It's got Millwall away win written all over this. The have just enjoyed back to back wins and have got the much needed new manager bounce. Rovers 0 - Millwall 2. No excuses, we move on to Plymouth and then the international break and the explanation of the button gate saga. There is the little matter of the court hearing too, so it could be all over bar the shouting very soon.
  3. I think the dog is on its way to the vet to have its injection. I hope I’m wrong, but can’t see us beating Millwall on Tuesday, who unlike us, have had the new manager bounce and back to back wins. Oh how Rovers need the same right now. Lose on Tuesday and Saturday becomes a real pressure cooker.
  4. Sorry, you simply cannot blame him for this. Waggott and the owners have sabotaged this together. No money spent players sold or loaned out to save money and although the fans do not deserve relegation, it’s happening in my opinion.
  5. A few on here were predicting a hammering before the game. Those who did I am sure will be happy to be proven wrong. For those who said they don’t care about the cup, the game, the occasion the grit and determination, all say you should care. I am still shaking from the tension that the pens brought, but despite the huge disappointment at the minute, yet again I’m proud to say I’m Rovers till I die. Well done to everyone tonight, it was a great spectacle and a performance to savour.
  6. I had better come clean. My business partner is from the other side.
  7. They money is running round the pitch at Selhurst park every other week. Where has that gone, as surely that will at least keep the lights on for now, even when the court decision goes against us, which I suspect will be the case.
  8. The club have reached a one-year deal with the local vaping company that took over sponsorship in January. That came when the deal with Australian-based Recoverite Compression was cut short, by mutual agreement, 18 months into a three-year deal. Totally Wicked stepped into the breach, with their branding on the front of the home, away and third shirts. That will continue, with a deal signed for the 2022/23 season, while they will also remain training kit sponsors, a deal that has been in place for five years. Rovers turned down offers from gambling companies in their search for a new sponsor, with Recoverite having ended a six-year run of betting firms, following Dafabet and 10Bet.
  9. I suspect you are right, but our main man was offered a sum he couldn't refuse and decided to abandon any morals he may have in favour of the money.
  10. Hopefully the summer transfer window will be carried out, with us still in the Championship, but I agree, we will now no money again. Assuming that is the case and we again, either go for loans and freebies, or even press some wrong buttons, hopefully someone will take Waggott to task and ask where all the money is really going.
  11. Especially as other teams have done even more than Everton, yet nothing done so far with them.
  12. Sounds great that and no doubt the game changing into what it is today, has been at the detriment of what was enjoyed in those days. Slightly before my time, but I heard some great stories about the sixties and early seventies from Brian, when we had our weekly catch up every Wednesday. I don't half miss those chats and especially the people from all walks of life who used to pop into his office to see him and reminisce.
  13. Cheers. I remember him telling a few good stories about Frannie Lee.
  14. Was the late Brian Pilkington in that side, or had me moved on to Bolton by then?
  15. It is only a very small snapshot at the minute, but until he increased his win percentage for the current 0% I can't be convinced about this manager. We have 3 very big games coming up and a 7 point return, has got to be the aim.
  16. I could be wrong, but think being on the bench and not actually coming on, does not actually count as being cup tied.
  17. Very said that. I remember him coming into the side on a hiding to nothing, after we sold Roger Jones. He certainly earned his corn and got a move himself to Wolves. My fondest memory of him, was him winning save of the season a Granada TV competition, with a brilliant double save and I remember going to school bragging about it, as I was one of only two Rovers fans in my class, despite it being a Blackburn based school. The Liverpool, Leeds and Man U fans amongst my mates, were envious at the time. RIIP Paul and my deepest sympathy to all his friends and family.
  18. The statement about the business being insolvent has been made so far as I know for several years. I don't see a player sale, granted a big one, will replace the on going declaration form the owners about their funding. My feelings are, if the court block the funding, then something has to give, be that administration or a sale.
  19. Buckley certainly has the potential to become a play maker. He has flattered deceive at times, but there is a player in there.
  20. It has to go hand in hand with a message that they must sell the club. The accountants make a statement each year to say the club is reliant on the owners funding the shortfall each year, otherwise it is insolvent. They can hardly apply that statement to the next accounts, if the court are stopping the funding.
  21. Does it really matter what we got for him, as we are already told despite the record signing, we are skint. With the Armstrong money and now this, we have had well over £30 million in, but just wait until the summer, as we spend nothing yet again.
  22. They are obviously under serious scrutiny here and those who think it is a formality that the funds are going to be approved (I include Waggott in that ), may be in for a big surprise
  23. They are scared of someone doing a deep dive and finding out some serious issues. The Indian press article, already states they have made illegal remittances and I suspect they haven’t even scratched the surface,
