  1. It's still the usual problem, no one will succeed whilst Venky's own the club, no matter how good the are. Lambert was off like a shot, once he realised what they were all about and although he may not have been the answer, he certainly wasn't going to be messed about. Tony is happy to toe the line, hence their reluctance to part company with him.
  2. I tend to agree that he is going nowhere, which is why the badly advised crew are still so wide of the mark, it is untrue. Assuming they still know the square root of FA about football, someone must have advised them that keeping him, is the way forward, yet I don't know of any poster on here, who thinks that is good advice. Yet again, they have someone advising them, who is more interested in their own agenda, than the long term good of the club.. Will they ever listen and will the club ever make any proper progress with these owners? Answers on a postcode, but don't bother sending it to India.
  3. I am sure someone on here will know his personally and be able to ask him.
  4. Until people, (who are hopefully now a shrinking amount), realise that they weren't badly advised at all and are in it for unknown reasons, that do not benefit the club in any way, then we are up against it. Just a statement, explaining their reasons for buying us and for continuing to large amounts of money, away with no plan, or method behind it, mighty be a start, as I know of not one fan, who understands all of this. As you correctly post, this is madness doing this over and over again, as another £x million will be added to the debt next season, rinse and repeat, until they achieve what exactly?
  5. They have been a total disaster and putting all that to the badly advised brigade, would need some explanation.
  6. I hope we aren’t in the middle of it, as another 10 years, will just about see me off.
  7. I wonder who the current bad adviser is? It could be quite a lucrative position. Situations Vacant. Adviser required to ensure that foreign owners of U.K. sports club, continue to fail. Must be fluent in bullshit and excuses, with an ability to spot an opportunity for spouting crap, in the local press. Salary negotiable, but can be reviewed once targets of under achievement are met. Losses need to be maintained at least at the current level and applicant, must have the drive and ambition, to totally alienate the customer base.
  8. They are just being badly advised and I am sure they will soon realise their mistakes.
  9. He forgot to add, that it is the fans fault after all is said and done, as they hounded Myles out and made his Dad cry.
  10. Carry on, as you are fully entitled to do so and I sincerely, hope you are correct.
  11. Put a board up advertising our mortgage brokerage at Clitheroe CC. That’s as close as I have got to supporting another sporting institution. I fully get what you do, but likewise could never go elsewhere watching a league team.
  12. Yes I’ve got it wrong. Can’t see it though, even if we lose the last 3.
  13. Yes you are right. Highly unlikely though.
  14. Yes we can’t go down. Last game of season Derby V Sheffield Weds, so one of them two are bound to finish below us. One off the relegation spots will be dire though
  15. Perhaps he is on the verge of signing the next crocodile Dundee.
  16. Spot on and the total disregard for anything sensible, in the early years and beyond, is unforgiveable. They were sold a get even richer, even quicker scheme, saw the rupee signs and signed. This is the very reason the badly advised brigade, irritate me so much.
  17. Total neglect from the owners, allowing this to go on and sitting back, saying and doing nothing. In any other walk of like, someone falling so badly, would be carted away.
  18. Superb news and well done to Rev. I know for a fact that the letter was sent by E Mail to Venkys, so maybe that had a hand in it too. it might be wishful thinking, but I’m convinced that Waggott’s main role at the club was overseeing this and now it is dead, him and his mates, will soon be gone. I am convinced that some of the posters on here, have the passion, ability and outright love for the club and all it stands for, to be a huge asset , to the club, if appointed in some capacity, to consult on future pivotal matters. It makes me proud to be a member of this forum, seeing an outcome like this and restores a small amount of faith in the club, that I was beginning to lose.
  19. At least Anderson worked for free!!!!!!
  20. For as long as I remember, we have had fans, who simply want to turn up for the match, cheers on the lads, win, lose or draw and have no interest in what goes on, behind the scenes. Thats all well and good, when we have people at the club, who are running things properly, but sadly, that’s no longer the case.
  21. When this fixture come around, I can’t help but think of the two own goals and red card that Duffy managed to get in our relegation season. Given thar he wanted a move and also he had scored an own goal in the previous game V Wigan, I can’t help thinking at least one of these was deliberate. To make matters worse, we went down on goals scored. Am I the only one, who has never forgiven him? Hopefully, we can get something from the game & I would take a 0-0 now, with the tea lady the star of the show, by putting an extra sugar in each players drink, leading to a bit more energy bring spent than in the last two matches.
  22. I can't help thinking back to one of the very few times the owners came out of the woodwork and advised that they were confused. So am I
