  1. I think we all consider them two to be overpaid, but surely £25m on wages is not now the real cost.
  2. Your post says nothing to do with Rovers, hence the problem, it’s not against Rovers, but given that it seems to be having an impact on them funding us, it does have a lot to do with Rovers. Your first paragraph is correct though, it isn’t against Rovers.
  3. You would hope so. With it being nothing to do with Rovers though, every will turn out just fine. 🙏

  5. In a lot of ways, that links to the wage bill, constantly being over £20m. I can’t get my head around it being that high, when we seem to be offering low ball wages and bringing in playeerz from abroad, or lower down the league from us. Surely something doesn’t add up.
  6. Well said. How the hell is the wage bill still that high?
  7. Pears injured. I was going to tell a sweet joke. Pears Dropped, but he’s injured
  8. I think that both David Goodwillie and Myles Anderson were given premier league contacts and the potugeezers, were given championship contracts. None of these were at the required level, we were playing at, when these contracts were dished out. Likewise with at least 3 managers too. During Venkys tenure, I would argue that some decisions were made that benefited third parties more than the club and its best we try to remember that, rather than blindly accept things, that don’t always seem right.
  9. I have been told, Duncan stepped down for health reasons.
  10. It’s a pity Charlie Chaplin, isn’t still living.
  11. We have had this before with Anderson and it was nothing but a divisive, ill informed comment at the time and if the race card is being played again, then shame on them.
  12. I know the trust have now stated that their public statements stands, which includes what Yasir said, so maybe it needs another statement, issuing by the reconfirming that is what he said. Perhaps Yasir needs to issue an apology himself, if he is now being called out and is trying to deny it was said. If he said it and now regrets it, then be big enough to say so, but more importantly, if he said it and didn't mean it, then what is he doing about attempting to bring back lapsed fans?
  13. My son, who has been going for 30 years said it’s the lowest point we have had in his time and I agree. It’s 53 years for me and the lowest ebb too.
  14. Probably, but they can foxtrot Oscar. The gloves are well and truly off.
  15. In his last 18 Matches, this manager has won ONE. Some outstanding candidate he is.
  16. Expect a heavy police/Steward presence. Stay safe, to all who go. I will be watching the match from Spain on Rovers TV but will be there in spirit and thinking of you all.
  17. I think the fans can do better than what the club seem to be planning. Lets get our own ideas together and show the footballing world once again, how special our club is. Poor owners or not, we are Blackburn Rovers.
  18. Hopefully, the proceeds of any fund will be sent to charity. I was made aware, by several people that you had stopped posting, due to a family holiday. I miss read a post you made. Enjoy your break and I am sure many look forward to your input, on your return.
  19. Absolutely fine with that. Before starting this thread, I did post in the Waggott out thread, that any suggestions for a local charity were welcome. Happy to suggest whoever the consensus want, so ideas like this are welcomed.
