  1. All results going our way at the minute.
  2. PNE have just gone one up. The game at their place could be a big one. Hope we take the expected big following and turn them over.
  3. Next weekends fixtures are very interesting. Norwich go to Boro on Friday night and Preston travel to Millwall. By the time we play, we will know the outcome of these games, so it could be another very big weekend.
  4. We could well have the added incentive of a win putting us back in the top 6. With 5 games to go for us and 4 for some of our rivals, I would settle for that all day long.
  5. I think we can get something from all of those games and would happily take us going into the last game still having our destiny in our own hands. We do tend to take points when we are not expected to and vice versa. I think we will beat Hull and Coventry at home (opposite to what I have just said I know) but also think we will win PNE at their place. That would leave us in with a chance V Millwall in the last game, even if we lose the derby and draw against Luton. I still think we are in with a decent shout.
  6. We do seem to perform better when the expectations are lower. I have a felling we may well do better than people think in the remaining games that appear the toughest. We need a win on Saturday to set us up, but can get something from each of the final 4 in my opinion. Coventry may be a tough one, but beating them will put them out of it.
  7. I do wonder if that point could prove to be crucial. I have this strange feeling that Rovers and Millwall with both need a ppojnt from that final game. Draw 0-0 would surely then be nailed on.
  8. It will take me a while to calm down from that. I had better get the scores on and hope we remain in to top 6 by the end of today. I would have definitely taken a point at half time, but thought we bossed the second half, so much that we should have won it. They were playing like the away side and the amount of time they wasted, nearly cost them. The big positive things form the day are Adam Wharton, starting and playing pretty well and giving Leonard a game. JRC was my man of the match and his finish was sublime. Hope we can win on Saturday and go into the derby with our tails up. we are still in the mi here and need to believe.
  9. Should I cash out and start ironing my running gear?
  10. It’s definitely they way to go. Understandably, Morton being included again, is causing some consternation. I think it’s the last chance saloon for him today and unless he puts in a good 45 minutes, expect him to be subbed at half time. He cannot hide today, as we won’t get away with it, given the full in the face football, we will be up against.
  11. One or both could be a sub I guess. I hope he starts both. My stomach is churning already, as I am dreading a no show and a meek defeat. I hope we turn them over and add some much needed hope back in to the team and the fans. COYB.
  12. They also had owners at the time, with rather questionable motives.
  13. Yes wearing the shorts and socks as well.
  14. He needs one today, like never before. I have a horrible dread about it though.
  15. I suppose that would be a valid argument if he was at least looking good when he got those touches, but from what I see, he doesn't. As one other has said, in response, those touches have been poor in the main.
  16. Hope it's as soon as tomorrow, as I have a feeling he will get more than 11 touches in each half.
  17. For those who don't go on this site, it mentions that Gallagher has had 43 touches over the last 2 games. That screams out at me, that something is badly wrong. even if you went into hiding on the pitch, if you touch the ball less than 11 times each half and your job is to score goals, you need to have a serious look at yourself. No way would I be choosing a player whose contribution is so poor, if I was the manager.
  18. Fill your boots, fill your shelves. I see the similarities.
  19. I must have missed Spurs away. What score was that one?
  20. Mick Ended up living in a council house in Darwen. I used to see his partner quite a lot in Darwen leisure centre at the gym. It was very sad how he lost his life on the Grane Road.
  21. As long as we get back on track and turn them over at Ewood, I can live with it. I don’t want to see them celebrating our demise at Ewood and a nice little victory over them against the odds, might just send them back over the Pennines with egg on their collective faces.
  22. I would be surprised if he starts Garrett and Wharton, but hope he starts Adam and let’s him showcase his talent.
