  1. 2-2 draw, Bellamy / MGP, Beanpole and Gerrard.
  2. Ditto - the acute angle for the finish was breathtaking.
  3. Tough game as everyone is saying, hopefully Sparky will work some magic and transform Rovers from the recent lacklustre efforts to a more cohesive team, 2-1 Rovers to tighten our grip on the European places. Need the Scousers / Scum to win also - it will be very odd willing those 2 to win.
  4. Wigan are good away from home, Rovers are good at home - therefore I am going for a score draw, 2-2.
  5. I'll predict a home win, 3-1, Pongo / Bellamy x2 and Camara for the Latics. 1400 away fans is dire - makes our away support look prolific.
  6. Just got back - it was not quite the Dick Turpin brand of highway robbery but it was not far off. Everyone was dire except 1 save by Brad, Nelsen / Lucas reasonable and the only candidate for MoM was Reidy - excellent effort all afternoon and a great goal. Thank goodness Steady still cannot score - should have had 2 by half time. Second half was nail biting stuff and a draw would not really have been fair to the Cats. Best moments - the PC who introduced the Stadium Of Light as the home of championship football, all the crowd singing sack the board and a wonderful rendition of Shearer Wonderland. Make no mistakes people - this was a really fortunate 3 points but I suppose that a good side plays badly and still grabs the 3 points. Bring on the pieboys.
  7. The NobEnd Lawro has gone for a draw!! I think Sunderland may get a real thrashing - 5-1, Stead for them and I do not care who for us. Looking forward to a grand day out on Wearside.
  8. McLaren may rest some of his first choice players - Boro are safe( ish ) from the drop but are playing Charlton in the FA cup midweek - hope the likes of the yak / Downing are not at Ewood. Let's hope for a reverse of the caning we got in the fixture last season. 3-1 to Rovers, Bellamy / Reid / Sav. Mark Verruca for Boro.
  9. Stick with the same team as Spuds, 2-0 to Rovers, Chelsea hopefully will do us a favour by thrashing Spuds in a post European defeat whirlwind.
  10. All I will say is bring on the Villa - play like that and Rovers will win at a canter. 3 outstanding players for me - Bentley, Bellamy and Lucas " I'm a football genius" Neil, for me Lucas has been one of the players of the season - ok he did go awol for the third goal but apart from that I thought he was superb. Keane's handball is payback for MGP at Newcastle. Great game, great energy - bring on the brummy Clarets.
  11. I am sure Rovers will be in their faces and not allow time and space like Madrid did, Dickov / Bellamy can be real thorns in the Arsenal defence. I think 2-2, Dickov / Bellamy, Terry Henry and Dirty Dennis for the team in raspberry.
  12. 3-1 to Rovers - Everton have no forwards unless BT makes it, Bellamy / Pongo should outpace their leaden defence. I would give Tugay, Todd & MGP a rest - are Rovers jetting of for a sunshine break this year? - should do them all good for the European push if they are.
  13. Every cloud has a silver lining comes to mind and Emile the donkey was sent off.
  14. Don't think this will be an easy game for the Rovers, 1-1 in a tired affair. MGP for us with a fre kick.
  15. http://www.manutd.com/news/fullstory.sps?i...icategoryid=120http://www.manutd.com/news/fullstory.sps?iNewsid=301489&itype=466&icategoryid=120' target='_blank'> Sour grapes fron Van Horse!
  16. What a stupid stupid man RFW is - moaning on Sky that we were fouling them left right and centre all evening, 6 minutes Fergie time was woefully inadequate and the best bit was Rio the clown never touched Savage - appears that the nerves in Rio's feet are not connected to his brain - or is he. as I have long suspected, just brain dead. Good riddance Fergie, 6 points to Rovers and one of the most entertaining games I have ever seen. Bring on the baggies.
  17. I would take a point as a good nights efforts but moving into pessimistic / realistic mode, 2-0 to the scum, Shrek / Skippy the show boater - sorry.
  18. SSN reporting Dean Ashton out with a groin injury!
  19. Mr Shearer will get his record goal but only in the 89th minute with Rovers safely 3-0 in the lead, Bert / Dickov and a Savage free kick.
  20. 3-1 to the Rovers, Pie boy then Bellamy x2 and a pile driver from Lucas after dribbling from deep inside the Rovers half. It is about time we really stuffed someone - let it be tomorrow.
  21. Rovers to win 2-1, it must be better than that garbage from the JJB - highlight of the match being the floodlight failure!
