  1. 1-1 draw I feel, Bellamy for L'pool, Jeffers for us - wouldn't that be ironic.
  2. A friend of mine posted the renewal forms on a Saturday - shiny new paasport delivered the following Thursday !
  3. 2-1 to Rovers, Heskey will produce his 1 and only cameo performance of the season as he always does against Rovers, MGP / Nonda for the blues.
  4. 2-1 to Boro - cant see our defence keeping a clean sheet and Woodgate the scruffiest player in the prem seems to have revolutionised the Boro rear line - he reminds me of Shaggy from Scooby Doo!
  5. Pleased with 3 points, impressed with Nonda - feel he and Benni could form a really useful partnership. The Axe was a revelation today - shored up the leaky defence admirably. As an aside was surprised how quiet Dickov was - far from being the irritating and moaning player he is normally; he was really subdued. Good to see the applause as he left the pitch.
  6. Worryingly Lawro thinks we will win, I am inclined to agree - 3-1 to Rovers, Dickov for City, Bentley,Benni and Nonda.
  7. The way Rovers have been playing, I will grab a 0-0 draw and hope to beat the bulls back at Ewood.
  8. 2-0 Rovers Benni / Reid - wonder if Craig Short will get an outing agaisnt Rovers? - could be interesting tussle with Roberts or Nonda.
  9. 3-0 to Chelsea - will be delighted to be wrong but cant see anything other than a convincing win for Chelsea.
  10. There were 6 of them sat in front of us BBE upper - wearing scarves / Everton T shirts / smoking - 2 were removed just after half time, to be fair they were not causing any hassle until just before they removed when the evicted apir started to get a bit mouthy.
  11. Official site says 8pm kick off - our normal time I thought. BT, Johnson and Arteta will be rubbing their hands with anticipation - 2-1 to Everton, BT x2 and a reply from Benni. Then Chelsea roll into Ewood - gulp.
  12. Here is my attempt 1. Chelsea 2. Liverpool 3. Man Utd 4. Arsenal 5. Spuds 6. ROVERS 7. West Ham 8. Everton 9. Newcastle 10.Bolton 11. Wigan 12. Boro 13. Man City 14. Villa 15. Charlton 16. Reading 17. Pompey 18. Fulham 19. Sheffield United 20. Watford Liverpool will push Chelsea all the way with Kuyt et al, I think that Watford will be down with the highest goals against in the premiership history. Rovers to seal UEFA again and a visit to Cardiff / North London in May and then a trip up to Glasgow - we can dream!!!
  13. 2-1 to New Zealand. Posted from south of France.
  14. Tickets Tickets on sale from 6th July - go get them!!
  15. For once England get a tournament off to a good start, 3-1 to Sven's gang.
  16. I have to agree with CM - Stevie " I can do no wrong " Gerrard will win - particularly if Lawro / Hansen are to choose, personally I will vote for Bellamy - outstanding run and a blinding finish.
  17. Naughty boys - no beer allowed on offical away travel!
  18. I will settle for a 1-1 draw and be reasonably confident that we will do better against City than the Barcodes will against Chelsea - Europe here we come.
  19. Should be a good day out to SE London - going for a 2-0 win for Rovers - they cannot be tired after 9 days without a game and motivation should not be a problem - but this Rovers. Is anyone taking beach balls etc for this one? Wonder if Jordans " blow up friend " will make her customary end of season appearance??
  20. Official site says no guarantee of sales on the day - I seem to recall that they have been available on the gate in the past, a long way to come from Paris without a guarantee of getting in.
  21. We are going to sample the balti pies on Wednesday and hopefully enjoy Mr Bruce's increasing discomfort, I personally would ' rest ' MGP and Dickov replacing them with Pongo / Emerton, 3-1 to the Rovers.
