  1. I believe that Sparky will continue with his philosophy of a strong side - QPR do have a reputation of being physical so I would expect Todd & the Axe to play, 3-1 to the Rovers.
  2. 2-1 to Rovers Lua-Lua for Pompey and 2 for Bellamy.
  3. I think Matt's best goal was agaisnt Bolton on a freezing cold Friday night in League 1 - he ran towards Jaaskelainen, feinted and the slid the ball into the net in front of the rovers fans - magic goal. I hope Matt prospers where ever he goes , the club have been really supportive of him, many others would have cut loose a long time ago.
  4. I am sure they were " chanting " the former insult not the latter.
  5. What a day out ! Away end jam packed, 3-0 Rovers win and managed to escape from the car parks relatively quickly. Two M-o-M - Nelsen / Zurab -the Wigan strikers had hardly a sniff of the ball all day and Lucas had a good game also. Brad made 1 outstanding save in the second half but was otherwise virtually unemployed. Dickov was less effective than usual but Bellamy was electric with some fantastic skill and ball control. Down side - the huge scrum around the 1 kiosk selling food - no chance of a pie at any price. Best moment - after the whistle went for FT with Robbie bowing down to the chant of the crowd. Happy new year
  6. Confirmed cancelled by Mr Dowd on official board
  7. If Bellamy is fit, I will go for 3-1, Stead is bound to score then Bellamy x2 and Savage to get a free kick right for once.
  8. Offiicial site reports that you can pay on the day.
  9. I am not too optimistic about either game - Cup game, Boro to win in extra time; Boxing Day a better game from Rovers if Bellamy / Nelesen are available, an honorable draw but still only 1 away day win so far.
  10. 2-2 in a really exciting end to end game, Mc Bride x2 to show us what we missed out on, Emerton / Zurab to equal things up.
  11. Thanks for the advice Paul / CLB - very helpful.
  12. There was no queue at the TO this morning, does any one know about parking at or around the JJB? - have only been to the preseason friendly and you could park directly outside the ground - thanks.
  13. 1-1 Kuqi / Zamora - close physical game Repka to be red carded. I would personally play Emerton in place of Tommo.
  14. 3-1 to Rovers, loosing Cahill will be a big loss for Everton, BT will score, Bellamy x2 and Neill in a comfortable win.
  15. 2-1 Rovers, Ambrose for them, MGP / Bentley with no extra time - that will do nicely.
  16. I am going to break the habit of a life time and go with Lawro - really cannot see Rovers getting anything from Highbury - 2-0 , Henry and V Persie - sorry folks.
  17. Rovers to win 2-0, Bellamy and Bentley to have blinders, Calamity has his usual nightmare in goal - can't wait.
  18. Really enjoyed the game today - I can only echo all the previous comments about Tugay, he was immense. Charlton were poor - Sven will not be including Murphy and Bent on todays showing. Bellamy looked a threat all over the pitch and the team spirit was there for all to see. 2 negatives; the crowd and how on earth did Mr Dowd not give the penalty?? - the most blatant hand ball at Ewood for years. Great result - bring on the Citeeh.
  19. Mr Lawro reckons 1-1 , I think Charlton's pace could catch out our defence abd Charlton have been much better away from the Valley - 2-2 to Rovers, MGP / Bellamy for us and Bent / Bothroyd for the Addicks.
  20. 3-1 Rovers, after a shaky start with the Blake dingle scoring an early goal
  21. Would be absolutely delighted with a point, but after taking off the blue / white tinted glasses I can only see Chelsea winning at a canter, 3-1 with Emerton sneaking one back.
  22. 2 - 0 to Rovers, Savage to score in the front of the Brum fans - let's keep Gold / Brady in the bottom three !
  23. I am fed up with Lawro's negativity towards Rovers - so I am going to 2-0 win for Rovers with Englands new Messiah - beanpole crouch marked out of the game by the admiral. MGP / Reid to score for us.
