  1. They should have asked him how our stats looked in 2021 - I would guarantee they are skewed by those first few weeks of the season.
  2. No - dressing room is clearly sign posted at most grounds.
  3. I think we are. The loan players we got in were all sounded out by clubs vying for promotion - which one of them wouldn't take Elliott. I am sure any of these clubs would take Armstrong, Dack, Nyambe, Travis, Kaminski off our hands. Personally I think players like Rothwell would also attract interest - depends whether you think his inconsistency is down to him or the manager.
  4. The bit you missed - The fact that we aren't improving in terms of league position leaves only one conclusion - that we need to change manager to take that leap from mid-table under achievers to promotion candidates. Player for player I would say our team is now better than it was when he joined. The fact that some players aren't consistent or achieving their potential is (IMO) partly down to the manager. To get that we need to change the manager.
  5. I actually think the team is improving (on a player by player basis) - and you have to give credit to TM for that. The fact that we aren't improving in terms of league position leaves only one conclusion - that we need to change manager to take that leap from mid-table under achievers to promotion candidates.
  6. Bennett actually worked First half - but not to have Nyambe on the bench was criminal (unless he has spat his dummy out)
  7. First half tactically not too bad - second half abysmal, just too slow to react to their changes. TM has to go before the good work he has done is lost by what is a season of massive under achievement.
  8. TBH - Barnsley play 3 at back - so at least he has tried to address our issues playing against that formation. Just not certain on personnel
  9. There are some aspects that do ring true - but it really just comes across as excuses from a manager under pressure.
  10. Watching the match I was amazed - this was a local derby and yet TM sat emotionless for much of what I saw. If players look at the touchline and see TM chewing gum - looking like a bulldog sucking a wasp - how are they going to be motivated ? Part of TM's job is to set them up tactically and to motivate them - on Friday he failed miserably in both aspects.
  11. Reminds me of the final days of Souness - strange selections, players out of position, lack of desire, tactically out done.
  12. I am sorry - but we are getting beat by a crap team like PNE - and he sits there chewing gum wtf
  13. They got their comeuppance- Ched Evans tried an even more blatant dive early on. Be interesting to see if PNE can keep up the level of pressing in the second half.
  14. Agree we played poorly - with each match decided by fine margins. Prior to QPR they went our way - against QPR we were unlucky. IMO this squad is good enough for top 6 inspite of TM - and TBH I couldn't give a monkeys if he has to change 5 players every match as long as we win.
  15. Win this - and we are looking at top 6 form in 2021 - W4, D1, L1. If we lose or draw we are falling back into mid table mediocrity. Really wouldn't like to say which way will go.
  16. In the Championship 2021 - W3, D1, L1 - and we possibly played the better football in the game we lost 😳 IF we can keep it tight at the back (without wishing to tempt fate, we have looked far better recently) - we have the forward talent to nick the odd goal. Also, the options from the bench are still good even with all the injuries.
  17. Yeh - possibly a bit of kidology by TM in the press around Dack. But with TM you never know.
  18. Did TM explain the Nyambe sub - only reason would be fitness (given his issues, understandable). Can somebody please confirm if we have a year option on Nyambe - I am sure I saw it reported we did. Regarding back 4 - we have one centre half to come back from long term injury - and a new left back due in the summer. On the match - we looked the better team for much of the match - but the fine margins that went for us in the previous 2 matches went against us in this. TBH with the players at TMs disposal we shouldn't have to rely on fine margins.
  19. Yes - I think his time is coming to a natural end - though still worthy of a place in the squad at the moment.
  20. Didn't think JRC was a full back ? Also - just because a youth team player is a full back doesn't necessarily make him the best back up player for that position.
