Blimey - that was depressing. If he was sending out a youth team to play against them I could understand it a little but ffs - we don't have to try to compete, we have to compete. So many ifs' and "try tos' " after 4 years of building a team is just scary. A caretaker manager in his 2nd game has more positivity and higher demands from the players! That said i actually expect us to rag a win here just to remove even the remote possibility that a change would be made or even discussed in a place far far away...

Tbf Chorley looked more organized than us in the 2 live games i watched. Just what do Rovers do all week? Excellent. Not sure if it is of interest but a mate of a mate has a brilliant idea to make some extra money and save costs too. If the players don't train at all then we can sell all the land, get rid of staff, save a fortune on cones and no player will ever miss a game again because they got injured in training and reduces the risk for outbreaks of co-vid. Fecking genius if you ask me

Five a side tournament - i was captain and decided who played what position. Coupled with actually buying both a kettle and a toaster that were upgrades on those i had and both things i needed - i wonder: Am i over qualified?

Fair points. I think it is difficult because this squad and TM are intertwined.

If TM was new then you could make a point for having inherited an unbalanced squad with injury prone players, expensive gambles and some on expensive contracts. After 4 years TM must take some (if not all) of the blame. There is the basis of a top 6 squad, possibly top 2 but it still needs 2 or 3 solid defenders and a manager/coach that consistently gets the best out of what we have. So to answer: yes top 6 given the squad and resources available
