  1. Yes? Bear in mind it includes the keeper.
  2. My wife hates wrestling. Like, properly hates it. She'll argue with me every time I want to put it on. But not AEW, she'll watch that. She even occasionally chirps in with 'how cool' it is when aspects of matches fit what went before or tie in to promos etc. However, they do need to tidy up the women's division a bit. Not half as engaging performers as Flair, Lynch, Banks, or Bayley. Although imo Deeb is better than them all.
  3. I feel like Braun should go to Japan and be an absolute unit. A bit like Albert making it over there as Tensai.
  4. Liv Morgan, Keith Lee, Angel Garza, Humberto Carillo all rumoured too.
  5. Ditto. It has that unfortunate placement of being right between another great pub and a great food place.
  6. The Three Fishes might be making a comeback courtesy of Nigel Haworth in October!
  7. Exactly this. Under Mowbray, those players will regress as most do. Under another manager with fresh eyes and ideas, who knows? The young talent in our squad is crying out to be let off the leash by a Souness type. I often even wonder if Dack and Armstrong have actually progressed less (despite their great seasons) than they otherwise would have with a different manager.
  8. Someone of this parish once typed 'he got possession on the edge of the box' and it autocorrected to: He got Posiedon on the edge of the biscuit.
  9. It's very possible. I'd be more hopeful, however, that a better manager might pull more consistency out of both (or would replace them if not) rather than have them plod along under Mowbray, which gives us no answers either way
  10. Rothwell and Travis, done properly, would be among the hardest fittest midfield pairings since Reid and Savage played together for us in difficult away games.
  11. Rothwell, imo, should be in the middle of a 442 alongside an anchor. I'm thinking of the role Dunny had in his first spell here alongside Flitcroft.
  12. Ditto! It's almost as if they're lying to us
  13. As high as 32, ya bastard? 😂
  14. YES YES YES! Think of the dressing room Hughesy cultivated, full of hard bastards and several international captains. Savage, Mokoena, Nelsen, Samba, Warnock, Bellamy, Roberts. All complementing a squad already containing Friedel, Short, Flitcroft, Todd, Reid, Neill, Tugay.
  15. Have considered Gamblers Anonymous? I kid, I've never been in a bookies longer than the time it takes to put a treble on.
  16. I know what the discussion was about, I read it, quoted what you said and commented on it. Stop being so sensitive. Fair enough it's your opinion, but I think it's a pretty harsh assessment given they averaged 5000 only 2 years ago in the Conference (which they're still in). Hardly 'never again' territory imo.
  17. I didn't assume, I quoted you exactly. And if you don't want people to join in halfway through a discussion, you might need to sit down when you find out how a message board works. You said: This flies in the face of their average attendance only 2-3 years ago.
  18. Sorry but that's like saying Rovers won't ever average 20k fans again, even with good club management. I suspect you just thought Wrexham were smaller than they actually are.
  19. Because if I choose to believe he's staying I'll start losing interest in the club.
  20. I've bought the Red Rose shirt from the FootballTown site for precisely that reason; so I'm not tempted by the club's new kits.
  21. Personally choosing to believe that Mowbray will be gone in a few weeks (delayed by Covid concerns in India pushing Rovers down Venkys priority list) and a new manager is waiting for the mutual consent announcement to spring into action. Hopefully one of Wilder, Howe or Ainsworth, but would equally love a proper back to basics dinosaur like Hughesy (as long as it ain't bloody Pulis).
  22. You’ve got me thinking here. What if the plan had been exactly as envisioned BUT with the purchase of land from the neighbouring Brockhall Farm to enable a bigger single complex that didn’t downsize the total facilities? Now I’ve said it, I’m amazed it wasn’t the plan.
  23. Agreed. Personally view any and all efforts to improve the club in a positive way and support them all. That includes the protests over the last decade, the Trust marketing prospectus, the open letters, the ACV efforts, the effort to stop Brockhall being downgraded, the idea to expand bus routes etc. How anyone can not support some of these purely because of errant commas utterly baffles me. Doing something, however small, in the first place takes more intestinal fortitude than dismissing something relatively concrete over some bloody grammar (and I say that as a former teacher married to a teacher).
  24. 'My team'. I like this side of you. Phwoar 🥰
