  1. Beaton by a country with more volcanos than people.
  2. Southgate is gifted, he can make a pigs ear out of a silk purse
  3. Bloody rubbish. Can only get better, surely. Plus we can't often make a decent cross, the Foden and Walker efforts were pathetic.
  4. Yes by Bright. Feb 89, 2-2
  5. I would have taken Grealish and not Toney. Grealish does have a trick or 2 and can do the unexpected but Eze can too. Their are others like Gordon, Bowen and even Foden who can play centrally if really needed I do think it's a good squad overall and in with a chance.
  6. It was awful. I was based at that time just north of Brighton, got a match ticket from a work mate Palace fan. Got a lift up to the match with him but had to go back south in a train full of crowing Palace fans celebrating the penalty gift. Their words. I saw us play a little better in the draw at Palace in the league a few months before, stood at what was the then uncovered end.
  7. I could only watch the Leicester game on TV from afar. My family was represented though at the playoff final by 6 STs that I'd made Rovers fans. Most still are! Courtney payback day.
  8. I'm still not over that but I blame Courtney and ourselves more than Palace.
  9. Let's put something to bed. In the 2nd leg at Palace Courtney had a mare and we were bloody useless. I was there, we were shit. I know my history, I fecking witnessed it. Palace just won a game where their opponents didn't show up.
  10. Delighted for Wharton. Also very pleased that Eze is in the squad. If Eze gets minutes he will open some eyes, he is seriously gifted. It's a very good squad.
  11. LOL. I only kept watching because Adam W came on. I kept nodding off before then. 🥱
  12. Adam's tackle, interception and winning the ball back stas are also impressive. In his time at Palace he has proven to all that he's PL quality. The step to England level, which is really PL plus maybe a bit, when looking at the top of the table, is a natural progression for him. Fuck Venkys, Fuck Waggott, Fuck Suhail.
  13. Rovers have more layers than an onion. Great strategy for plausible deniability.
  14. Maybe he's here to teach Gally how to control the ball first touch, that's an extremely technical and difficult task even for a Welsh guru. At least the Swag Choir should improve
  15. If he knows how to press "submit" he will be replacing Silvestre
  16. Summerville has been poor over the past couple of months. Gnonto was poor, Piroe ineffective. James did ok when he came on and I rate Ampadu. Overall a team non performance but unlucky when James hit the crossbar and Soton only scored one but they went into defending and time wasting early doors and Leeds had no answer.
  17. Ratcliffe, a minority shareholder will little actual power to direct the long term future of the club, has been taken on by the Septics to pay for ground upkeep, ground improvements and contribute towards player purchases. He will get rolled but he probably knew that when he decided to get involved but like any fan with enough cash he believes he can change the real owners and make improvements to team performance as measured by European qualification and trophies. For Glazier's sake I hope they all fail.
  18. Agreed. I didn't bother watching it and seeing either Manchester club win it. I had better things to do, I had and early kip before the evening darts session. * I just watched the goal highlights. 2 complete shambles and one from a good passing move.
  19. It makes the most sense to sign to a longer deal a CF who is a proven non scorer? The club propaganda unit infest every bit of social media. Normally I ignore this shit but there are limits.
  20. I'm relatively confident, what a fucking sad sad choice of wording, that at my age I will not see the day when over a full season we are in a higher league position than Burnley. I point at Pune vermin, the total blame for the Rovers debacle lies at the doorstep of those cunts. May they rot in Hell for all eternity.
  21. At the stage I'm not sure how it all works but I read in the Sky presser words to the effect that if you are anywhere in the world (with internet) you will, next season, be able to watch any EFL clubs full league fixture list of games plus the cup add ons either on local TV or via the relevant clubs streaming service. All games. Clubs will have to do a repricing of their streaming offers as I think, for example, in the Championship each club will be on Sky at least about 24 times for league games. I expect at least similar numbers and probably more to be available on international TV. But in the remaining "dark" countries with no coverage on TV each game will have to be via the clubs streaming service. There will be 6 cameras at all Championship games. Edit: I've not read in full yet but it's going to be very relevant https://www.img.com/sports/our-news/efl-fans-to-enjoy-enhanced-broadcast-experience-after-transformative-production-deal-with-img
  22. International coverage of EFL games is set to increase substantially. For example, all EFL games will be available in the US.
