  1. Just prior to the second leg break SU gave Fleck a 1 year contract extension. A sensible option as they could review at this seasons end depending on which league they were in and how he'd coped in the PL. Then he breaks his leg again and they don't want him anymore, not even in the Championship which is where they will be for sure next season. Not even in the Championship. That tells us all we need to know but went over the heads of those at Rovers. SU have rogered us again.
  2. I wonder which player's turn it will be tomorrow to do similar. I think they'll stick with another senior player
  3. I have a vivid image of grown men and young boys weeping copiously and the club not having invested in any paper hankies.
  4. I don't know if this has already been posted but Elliot Jackson did a fair appraisal of our current dire situation in the LT. Credit where credit is due Mr. Jackson. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24158552.blackburn-must-accept-relegation-truth-avoid-unthinkable-fate/
  5. He's just never in a rush. That was one hell of a strike though, still rising when it hit the underside of the crossbar. A match where I found myself hoping CIty would win. It's a funny old game.
  6. I would rather watch Garrett, a Rover, have a stinker than someone else's player doing the same. Garrett at least tries, which is more that Moran often does.
  7. And Venkys third relegation. I wonder if they will throw a party and invite CornerMan and Swag. Maybe Sylvester took, for a job well done.
  8. Folks confuse Brittain with a competitive footballer. That's the way it is.
  9. Moran has, rightly, been lambasted for his pathetic display but Pears fumble and Wharton taking a short pass inside free kick at major fault too. Extended highlights, as usual not from Rovers, too expensive......
  10. The bookies won and they're not stumping up for the wine order tonight.
  11. I do wonder if the scam has a shelf life of any reasonable terms in L1. Margin can only be maintained by further cost cuts and we know how that ends.....
  12. We have 11 games left. Looking at all teams in the relegation mix and at their most recent 11 results and unless their is a seismic upward movement in our results then we are down and the likes of Sheff W will finish above us. JE has a mountain to climb and who will the senior players moaning committee blame.
  13. I had a "WTF just happened there" moment when he just didn't bother to chase after the player who then has time himself to slow down to get a better cross in, resulting in Swansea's first goal. He just didn't bother, just gave up. Wimp, pathetic juvenile. His actions were major factors in our conceding 2 goals so it's fair to say he cost us the game.
  14. I'm only interested if JE said it. Sammie gets a pass.
  15. I had stopped watching by the time of Fuckoffgate, I hope it's available on video soon.
  16. When he got his second gig at Rovers and then renewed. He should play the lottery with luck like that.
  17. We are well and truly deep in the smelly stuff and will have to rely on the likes of Siggy the Ponytail, Moran the baby and Brittain "breath of fresh air" to dig us out when they couldn't lift a spade between them. Just as well some gifted JE the win v Stoke otherwise his results would look even more like they actually are.
  18. It's fair to say that JE selecting that little twat from Brighton has rogered us where it hurts.
  19. The piss wipe called Moran far more of a weakness than Buckley ever was or ever will be.
  20. He's bloody crap. Moron. Sweet Jesus he's as weak as piss.
  21. There is also the use of subs. JE has, since he arrived, used 5, 5, 3, 3, 3 and 5 subs and in the Cup game they were quite early. Also clubs employ loads of staff to guage players fitness and workload and amend training at an individual level to that players needs. Managers and coaches have been using the scheduling excuse for decades.
  22. I wish JE well and every success, that's good for all of us. I just wish that someone at some level at Ewood or Brockhall would take JE aside and tell him that most fans like being called Rovers rather than Blackburn Rovers and definitely not just Blackburn. All the names are good, but Rovers are who we are. Offered in the spirit of the much vaunted "togetherness".
  23. Almost all the teams below and within 4 points of us have, on paper, difficult fixtures today. Stoke within 4 points of us currently sit in the relegation zone. Plymouth sitting at 15th can be included in the desperate need for points. It would boost the survival hopes of all those teams to pick up 3 points today. A win for us today would be huge but a point would not be a failure. COYB
  24. He wanted out in the summer on terms favourable to the club and owners. They, not JDT, played hardball. He then stayed on, brought his family over which just has to have been based on new assurances given over the summer which soon proved to be the usual lies and claptrap. He didn't quit, he succeeded in making a strategic withdrawal from a pile of shit.
