  1. I'm watching the QPR game but the nerves are setting in over our game. Brum just scored, Bacuna with a very good shot. Edit: QPR equaliser, deservedly. The ref has stopped booking Brum players....
  2. Millwall pick up a point in the 1-1 v WBA. Millwall missed a host of chances but WBA dominated the game after the penalty. George Saville was superb for Millwall in a midfield with an attitude I hope we can match today. Off now to watch QPR v Small Heath. A draw would suit us.
  3. WBA get a somewhat soft penalty at a time Millwall should have been at least 3 up. 1-1 Missed good chances cost. We are happy with that at the moment.
  4. Just from your results in 2024 you've also picked up quite a few points from goals scored late on, v Leicester, Brum, WBA, Bristol City, maybe others. Theres 8 points there from comebacks. The late ones conceded at Cardiff were a shock and so were the early 3 at Preston where you then almost got a point with those 2 late goals from Moore. Our Scott Wharton reckons he'll play well now that he's getting more cuddles and that we're up to speed in our defensive duties. We will see. It starts at 0-0 and I'd take a point now.
  5. The Dingle plan has more of a chance that any club that downsizes their squad, decimates their budget year on year (or more frequently if their mates in the courts play ball), relies at least 30%+ on youth whilst claiming faith in this plan getting said club back into the PL. Again I stress that the "any club" is not made up. Someone has actually gone public with this insanity.
  6. I had to read carefully as I was worried I was in a time warp. It appears more likely the freefall this season was player inspired.
  7. A guy from India was appointed something in finance not too long ago. I can't recall if he was to be bars in India or the UK. Meanwhile at Ewood it's jobworth musical chairs. A moment ago whilst on the main Rovers website looking for a name for the Indian finance guy I got this. You may think this is an old image, it's not. As we now have the like of Scott Wharton doing the bidding of the VSW cabal and slagging off JDT publicly this is a little odd. No doubt Rovers will claim they have now spotted what was just human error. Arses and Elbows.....
  8. I've just read the piece by the crybaby Scott Wharton. Disgraceful behaviour. No wonder JDT alledgedly lost the dressing room with shysters like Wharton running it as a so called senior player. He's honest? you are taking the fecking piss.
  9. "He's by far the most qualified man in the building" .... "who worth their salt is going to take on this gig" Somewhat at odds. The first comment is a blatant piece of crap in relation to JDT and Remy.
  10. I only saw the short highlights and goals. He was creative in the penalty.
  11. He's been at Rovers since he was 8. He made his senior debut for Rovers in the FA Cup v Cambridge in the 3rd round in January 2024. He became Rovers youngest ever debutant. As things stand we'll be lucky to cover costs. This is the fabled PATHWAY.
  12. I could not give a flying one about any team celebrating if England aren't up to winning.
  13. I'm not watching an England team that has any 2 of Dunk, Chilwell or Toney as starters. I didn't tonight and never will. Meanwhile Wales have a twat with a whistle running their game. On to penalties.
  14. Just 3 more friendlies to go until the Euros start. Our defence is still a shambles. These games are necessary but Southgate will fail to utilise them to make the fixes needed. His stats should improve even more against B&H and Iceland, OMG!!, maybe even Belgium who are pretty good again.
  15. And even mess that up at home when favourites. He's a flat track bully saved by the quality of players that he has but he doesn't know how to maximise.
  16. Brazil, as ever, were good to see. England, as ever, boring. Dunk replaces Maguire.....OMdearG...... RoI v Belgium a better game to watch and not just because Sammie had a decent debut.
  17. I messed up on timings, thought it was a 3 am KO Bkk time, so missed the 1st half. Almost fell asleep in the 2nd half. Maguire replaced by Dunk, stopped watching. We will win no trophies whilst Southgate is the manager.
  18. They were getting better 2nd half, pre subs. Definitely should be ahead by 2.
  19. AND then loan out experience. You couldn't make it up. I've only watched about 20 mins so far, TBH I find him creepy in a worrying way, but it's been focused a lot so far on youth and the academy which is his only area of some experience. A Broughton promotional when job hunting
  20. Sammie made a good pass through that Ogebene should have got a shot on target. Awful penalty. Then Ogebene shot or scuffed wide when in a good position to get on target or find SS centrally. Belgium the better outfit but Ireland the better chances. Ref a bit inconsistent. Edit: Almost!!
  21. On Adam. The club set a value, it was matched by Palace, showing that the club were ok to let him go. He went. Please don't go down the propaganda route and say the player forced a move All parties were ok with it.
  22. "Integrate academy players whilst operating on a small budget, that how we see our way back to the PL" Good luck with that one. The club have let him speak via this route to see how the market receives it before they put there stamp of support on him. That interview was a pre arranged game of softball. I now have better things to do than watch Broughton. I'm off to watch our Sammie.
