Nyambe was a decent CB if injuries to others required it. And pace and a tackle were in his locker. But others are correct, he went to pieces of he went upfield into the oppo half. That may be as much the fault of coaching as the player. The comment 'stealing a wage' by another was ludicrous. Nyambe post Rovers .. I could not care less. Brittain, if I had him with me in the trenches I'd run a book on him doing a runner.

I stayed up to watch that, I need my head examined. We have a lot of weaklings in our squad, a lot. JE and his mass subs, madness born of arrogance, stupidity or both. JRC, what he taking? Hyam and McFad on together, well FFS. The corner routine, pathetic. I'm going to do what I should have done hours ago and have a sleep.

JRC interview post Oxford, worth watching to see both our goals from a number of angles -
At Easter 1964 aged almost 12 I had travelled alone over 150 miles to stay at Grans in Blackburn. I then went alone by bus, Ribble (?), to Blackpool and back to see us lose. Recalling little of the game itself but do remember stood behind the goals in plenty of empty space and then struggling to find the bus station to get back to Grans. The only other time I visited Bloomfield Rd was a couple of years later for a Reserves game. I probably went to that as I'd done the route before and was into watching any game I could get to by bus when on hols. My travels were not without incident and in hindsight bloody stupid when young and alone.

Maybe Swag and Shadow have got boots that still fit the old unfit never kicked a ball in anger types. We will win anyway. I'm actually posting to join those who are changing their opinion on JE. Now almost recovered from my post JDT depression I can view JE in logical terms and he no longer seems to be the "yes" man I thought him to be. The start to the season helps but not the deciding factor, I actually now think he now knows what it's all about at this ramshackle club of ours and is just trying to do his best in difficult circumstances. For that he deserves support.

Good time to play the Dingleberries. I expect at least a point. I kid you not. Either or both Big Mak and Yuki to score. -
So, ..... after the second and now forgotten, by the faithful, shambles of "NotSentGate" obviously that spouted trip to the US to do an increased deal with Orlando and get an agreement with Duncan Maguire to sign, something, did not happen. And now we are being told that there are no impediments to our owners funding the club in all areas ..... Don't panic..... Could it be that Maggott and Shadow lie on instruction from the Vermin more than Trump at the Stump? Just my little conspiracy theory. I know I should be joyous at the news that we have no impediments..... It's reassuring.... One question. Did Barnum actually say that? It in interest of fairness the signings of Big Mak and Yuki for a fraction of the alleged cost of Duncan M is inspired and no doubt earns Maggott and Shadow a big bonus, which makes them, ermmmm, now what's the word....

And I think I'm right in saying Makhtar is the only striker on that list making, imo, his topping the list a hell of an achievement -

I fell asleep at HT after nodding off quite a bit during the first half. Woke up at 6.30 local time. Just watched the short highlights posted by Rovers on YouTube. Can't blame the keeper for their wonder goal. Top class finish to win the game. Also took time out to watch highlights of Burnley losing. A nice way to start a Sunday. -
And thanks why I can't forgive the wimp. He's not a show pony though, he's a show donkey.

I've just watched the highlights of Toon v Soton. Brereton creates and then exploits a situation with Car support for his cheating. One of the few times in years I'm glad Newcastle won. Brereton, fuck off to Spain or Chile or stay here and get a real kicking. It's coming wanker.

Many thanks and I found the Derby replay. The Norwich replay is already showing on Canaries TV so should be on Rovers TV soon -

I feel your pain. I watched the extended highlights and it was a proverbial game of 2 halves, SU didn't turn out for the second one. -

Whilst looking, a bit early TBF, to see if the replay of the Norwich game had been posted I noticed that no replay of our first league game v Derby had been posted either. The replay of the Carabao Cup v Stockport was available. Has there been a change for league replays and are we now down to just short version highlights?
