  1. What makes these deliberate and coached dark arts even worse is that, true to the Rovers way, we are not very good at it.
  2. When Coventry equalise we have all our players back in our penalty area. It's a outswinging right footed cross, the sort Mowbray is averse to, and the reason Kaminski stays on his line. Most of our lot are headless chickens marking nobody. Nyambe does what he does in such circumstances and prefers to try to push his man rather than jump to head. OK he's injured here. Meanwhile Gallagher is back there near to Nyambe and does Sweet FA. We have 2 players in close proximity to the scorer but who both have excuses. Nyambe is injured ...... Gallagher is Gallagher ........
  3. I like Nyambe but defending against an aerial ball has always been a major weakness of his.
  4. I will take anybody in place of that tool. Anybody.
  5. Ref as bent as a nine bob note. Fucking twat.
  6. Good work by Nyambe, good cross by Buckley and the genius does it.
  7. He is actually too left footed to play anywhere on the right.
  8. We have just been rogered for a full half but only 1 down. With that sort of luck, plus a players revolt there is still hope despite having a tool as a manager.
  9. Saudi, Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Jordan, Bahrain ...... Nope.
  10. Anyway to answer the thread title. Despite the fact that Mowbray is not actually a Monarch his 'reign' has been about as effective as that of Charles 1. Here's hoping the chop comes soon.
  11. Brought tears to my eyes: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/20039706.tony-mowbray-coventry-city-exit-blackburn-rovers-balance/ 3.5 hours drive from home, sad sad fecker. I was working 12 hours from home, and that was travel by plane!
  12. Yes, I think we have fecked it up too. We have to rely on others bottling it but we seem to better bottlers than most. That comes from the Manager.
  13. With Forest currently winning and strolling it and with a superior GD we will start our game outside of the playoffs and we have played more games than all those just above or below us. Ours is a must win if ever there was. Time for Mowbray and Rovers to show up.
  14. He could not have been properly match fit, he had no 90 min games since the injury happened. Chile kept him on until Uruguay scored. The logic in that is known only to Chile and maybe Brereton. I watched the first 30 mins of the Chile game, I'll just say he didn't do much.
  15. Chile were more than desperate if they thought a Championship player returning from injury could save their WC campaign against all rational thinking and odds. Friggin mental of Chile and Brereton for that matter. They got what they deserved. Nowt.
  16. Sky Sports have made the showpiece event available to watch on Pick TV, Sky Showcase and the Sky Sports YouTube channel.https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/60953084
  17. Guidance on how you cant watch the game on RoversTV https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/april/01/roverstv--watch-rovers-at-the-ricoh-/ Thankyou Rovers for information as useful as tits on a carrot. Useful is like this: https://m.livesoccertv.com/match/4039534/coventry-city-vs-blackburn-rovers/
  18. The light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train wreck.
  19. It was 17.40 pm TH time before I saw it so past noon and therefore failed the test. I can therefore legitimately class it as some twonk playing a cruel joke ......... which I fell for .......😭 But when that feeling of pure joy returns for real it will be a memorable day.
  20. Bruck, I think. Curtis and Bruck had been kicking Fegie all game. It was a watershed game and even as a 15 year old at the time I knew it.
  21. I'd saved up and treated myself to a seat upstairs in the Riverside and had a good view of Fergie kicking the bucket. Gould scored at the Darwen End. We were the better team but couldn't score, well that's how I remember it, against thugs.
  22. I hope we wear our red and black kit, at least we will look good.
  23. Quote ''The very reason we’re in the loan market is because these owners haven’t got wages under control in 10yrs.'' Quote: ''£2m a season including wages, isn’t £10m a season including wages'' I am genuinely confused. Am I missing something or miss reading? Are Rovers wages too high or too low? It can't be both.
  24. TBH stand ups are not really my thing, especially American or those who are wannabe Septics.
  25. No match thread as yet so I'll mention here that the game v Coventry has now been selected for overseas television broadcast by multiple channels across Europe, Asia, North America and elsewhere. https://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/2022/march/news-sky-blues-vs-blackburn-rovers-selected-for-international-tv/ Edit: also now on https://m.livesoccertv.com/match/4039534/coventry-city-vs-blackburn-rovers/
