  1. Watched in iFollow. I will never see that Fiver again. Big personalities in the dressing room? Shame we don't play matches in there. There were so many bad performances by Rovers players you would think it was orchestrated. Defensively on their goals I have seen better players in Pub teams. Dack must be trying to get his transfer fee reduced, he's doing that well, but also he and others must be wondering WTF goes through Mowbrays brain at team selection time. I blame the International break, it gives Mowbray too much time to think and just confuse himself.
  2. Pale Man City blue was not the original colour of Rovers first kit. It was white. We have used this insipid shade of pale blue just about 10 times in our full history, yes half of those occasions were in the very early years. The Logo looks like the flag of Japan, badly washed on one half.
  3. I was only a young kid but my Dad, a lifelong Rovers fan, went to watch the replay with he said a whole load of mates, all Rovers fans. Finney was the main attraction for Dad and the likelihood of an easy to get to good game. I imagine that quite a number of Rovers fans went to boost the gate. Dad always maintained that Finney was the most gifted complete footballer he ever saw and could play anywhere.
  4. Sadly true, as we will one day to Venky Rovers playing at Balaji Park in pale blue and white kit. Well apart from me and a few others.
  5. On instagram you get bright vivid flashing colours plus the odd pink elephant or ? albatross, or so I've been told, allegedly. Definitely no Man City blue.
  6. I think the late sponsor deal also dictated a pale blue usage so the sponsor's logo could been seen. I don't go along with colours being chosen months in advance of shirt issue.
  7. Thanks to you and JB for detailed and understandable responses. With Rovers biggest and best fan MB adopting this seasons colour scheme I hope the Club do not take it as a thumbs up for a longer use of insipid blue. COYB.
  8. Are you suggesting or do you know that the Club are re-branding to a pale blue on a permanent basis? I truly hope that 'NO' is the answer. The other improvements to the site all look like good upgrades.
  9. It is bloody awful. Why change for what is hopefully just a passing fancy, in bad taste.
  10. The changing face of the Championship: https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/changing-face-championship-how-englands-second-tier-shifted-its-style
  11. 5th Round(?) and in just over a week they had played those 3 games, no interference from TV then.
  12. With Ritchie in goal I think we can already do that bar a big target striker. Maybe Richie can do that too.
  13. Thanks. I did not know Talksport had the likes of them, I will give it a go.
  14. You must have had a great trip. Did you get mixed up in the hotel debacle? I heard Anderson on Tailenders podcast slagging off the hotel used by England in Kandy. He refused to name it. This was a day or more before the match started so not sure if he meant the hotel England moved from or to. I live in a hot place but amazed at the England fans sunbathing for hours, not my idea of fun. I would be in the shade, watching the cricket with beer in hand, lol.
  15. Thankfully TMS still produce the best cricket Podcasts with speakers who know their stuff.
  16. Agreed. I have rewatched old Holmes movies and TV series many times over the years, never boring and always get a new angle on the plots. On Basil I'm amazed he found the time to play so many games for Rovers with so many other projects on the go. What a trooper! ?
  17. I see the PL have appointed a top media executive as the new CEO, expect even more PL and EFL media exposure.
  18. OK progress.. London wide boy.. In Marbella... with the Town(?) crowd... Just like a basic IQ test or a silly Internet quiz. Still it passed a couple of minutes.
  19. I feel quite fortunate to be of an age to not have a clue what that means...I have heard of Instagram though.
