Our second half possession went up due to Villa being confident they could defend a 2-0 lead. They decided to conceed territory. Second half a lot of our possession was actually non productive passing it around often sideways, backwards and not threatening to Villa. Conway was OK but his crossing abject. Rothwell made us look more attack minded but it lead to just a couple of chances, including Armstrong's pathetic shot. First half was atrocious by us, played off the park.

I got a match pass today so watched the first half on iFollow not the greatest quality of picture but watchable, sound OK but some buffering and had to reload 3 times. Watched 2nd half via a stream. Perfect picture, sound OK. iFollow have a crap app and weak server.

For the foreseeable future our first team will be built around those players, you know the ones who failed in the Championship last time and got us relegated into L1 and then secured unbounded praise for getting out of a tinpot. I suspect that the majority of Rovers fans have known of the need to strengthen at CB, months before at long last Mowbray shouts Eureka!!! And if we end up with Bauer it simply proves we were willing to wait for the cheapest defensive option.

Blame culture rampant. I absolutely do not believe that all the football coaches so reported, and there have been quite a few, are actually bullies. Some may well be.
