By my counting, in full Championship seasons, Tony Mowbray has managed 36 games in February and won 7 of them. That is a recipe for failure right there. Doesn't matter whether your chasing promotion or fighting relegation, if you blow that key month every season it's going to derail you every time. And when you factor in that Feb is usually only part of a Mowbray death spiral, really does highlight what a specialist in failure he is.
