That's almost 18 months ago I gave up on Gallagher. He's had all that time to prove me wrong. That's about 60 odd games. If anything, his contributions have got worse over that period. And what's this notion that because 1 player has come good, it might happen with others? Simply not true. It's the exception not the norm. Particularly over such extended time periods (pandemic stoppages or not). What about Keith Andrews, Jason Lowe, David Goodwillie, Chris Brown etc etc? SG is looking like panning out more in their mould than Diaz's. You've picked the one diamond in the rough that surprisingly came good, and tried to use it as an example that us football fans know nothing. I'd argue we get it right more often than we do wrong. Both SG and Mowbray have been given good backing and lots of time at this club to prove their value. Barring a remarkable turnaround in the next 6 weeks (Breretonesque perhaps π), neither will have achieved the required standard. And I'd be gutted if both were still vital cogs in the setup come August. Because we all know how that season would look. π₯

I'd be about as devastated as I was on hearing that Bradley Orr was leaving the club.

It normally wears off 2/3 hours after final whistle, but still as angry now as I was at 5pm. Really was curtains for the season in the cruelest way. -

I thought he'd gone off for a bit and we were playing with 10 (9 if you factor in Gally) , till I spotted him limping around. -

Our player's spent 4 min on the floor injured. Would be fair enough if the same didn't happen against us week after week with about 30 seconds added on for it. -

More importantly, not even a hint of one for them despite many similar challenges. Every sodding week! A high foot and bloody nose is a yellow on every pitch in the World in modern times ffs. -

We don't just lose 50/50's, we lose 80/20's too. Really is quite something. It's like we're allergic to the ball. -

Cheating wankers trying to score a goal with the keeper on the floor. That was shameless. -

Nailed on draw. We're not good enough to win. Not bad enough to lose. Pretty much sums up our season, and why we won't go up. -
Guessing you mean them celebrating watching us on the TV. Pissed me off at the time, but i got over it fairly quick. Was probably the pinnacle of a generation for their supporters. Can't really blame them for lapping it up. The times they've lorded it over us have been few and far between.

Ta. Had a look, could be right up my street, but 'pay Β£5.99 for a Sundance Now subscription'. π€¬π€¬ Honest to God, it's getting right on my nerves now. No wonder people are using alternative options to view things. Robbing bastards. I pay for TV licence, Sky Sports, BT Sports, all the Virgin media channels and Netflix. I use other people's Amazon and Disney+ (mainly just for Walking Dead). Not even about the money (although it definitely is!) , but if I want to watch those 2 shows I now have to go give the lass at work 21 quid and tell her some charges will be on the bank statement. Darth Vader better pour me a drink, I'm heading the dark side. Enough is enough.

Need a new show as finished Top Boy last night. But seasons 2,3, & 4 of Snowball are free on Iplayer. But Season 1 is Β£14.99 on Amazon. I'm mulling whether it's worth me just paying the 15 to, in effect, get 4 seasons of a show. Sounds like u two rate it.

Agree with the 6 consensus. If he got us in the playoffs this season I'd up it to a 7.5 regardless of what happened in them. But, if we didn't go up, no new contract, if we did, 1 year contract only. If we got relegated, no chance I'd want him spearheading the bounceback. By that stage, don't think he'd even have the energy. He seems about a decade older than his actual age.

C'mon Gav, that miss is the definition of laughable. 6 yards out, with the keeper out the nets, and you not only miss the ball, but fall on your arse. π€¦ββοΈ -

You must've missed the exciting news in this thread about our bright future ahead. The good times are coming. If you doubt that, you're not opening your mind. I'm throwing a party tonight to celebrate. πΎπΎπ₯π₯ -

We're going to gift them a goal soon. Or rather, they're gonna take advantage of the gifts we keep giving them soon. Here's to a 2nd half turnaround like Tues. -

But the slight problem with this is that on various occasions you have stated time has been the issue in relation to disclosing more information. i.e. I need to keep this under my hat for a while, and then depending on how it develops, I'll tell you all more. Which is perfectly reasonable....... until you're banging the same drum some 6 months later..... having shared the squate route of sod all. Then, credibility takes a nosedive, and it starts to look suspiciously like something else. So, can you gauge and give an opinion on the information you were provided, and how it all panned out? π€ -
Premier League season 21/22

Two footed, off the floor, and out of control is the lines they'll trot out. Agree though, it's an orange at worst. Certainly not worthy of an overule for being clear and obvious. -

https://www.soccerstats.com/formtable.asp?league=england2 Championship form tables, 6/8/10/12 games. Derby are in the bottom 3 in all of them except 10 games where they sit a lofty 20th. This points deduction scenario seems to confuse things. They are simply an incredibly poor team. Not their fault with what's gone on, but still very clear. I'm chuffed we beat them, I really am, but I'm not going to start pretending it was some impressive feat. With their away record in particular versus our home record, a win last night was a fairly low bar to achieve. We did it, and well done to TM and the team for that. But I'm thinking any major plaudits can wait until they have put some form of substantial run together to get us back on track. Don't feel I'm being unfair with that stance. I would hope the squad would think exactly the same way, otherwise they don't hold much professional pride. -
Good illustration of where we at form wise even after last night's much needed win: Form: Last 12 matches GP W D L GF GA GD Pts 1 Fulham 12 8 2 2 26 11 +15 26 2 Sheffield Utd 12 7 3 2 19 8 +11 24 3 Huddersfield 12 6 6 0 19 9 +10 24 4 Bournemouth 12 7 2 3 19 11 +8 23 5 Luton Town 12 7 1 4 13 12 +1 22 6 Nottm Forest 12 6 3 3 18 9 +9 21 7 Blackpool 12 6 3 3 17 11 +6 21 8 Millwall 12 6 3 3 10 7 +3 21 9 Cardiff City 12 6 2 4 17 11 +6 20 10 Middlesbrough 12 6 2 4 19 16 +3 20 11 QP Rangers 12 5 3 4 15 12 +3 18 12 Preston 12 4 6 2 11 8 +3 18 13 Coventry City 12 5 2 5 15 15 0 17 14 Swansea City 12 5 1 6 11 18 -7 16 15 Hull City 12 4 3 5 10 10 0 15 16 Barnsley 12 4 2 6 11 14 -3 14 17 Birmingham City 12 3 4 5 16 19 -3 13 18 Bristol City 12 4 1 7 15 22 -7 13 19 Blackburn 12 3 3 6 5 10 -5 12 20 Stoke City 12 2 5 5 17 17 0 11 21 West Brom 12 3 2 7 9 15 -6 11 22 Derby County 12 3 1 8 12 20 -8 10 23 Reading 12 2 2 8 13 28 -15 8 24 Peterborough 12 0 4 8 6 24 -18 4 Covering over a quarter of the season, we are sat in 19th place, having managed to beat one of the teams in the bottom 3 last night. EVERY single one of our promotion rivals is in the top 10 of that table (barring QPR just outside it.) EVERY single one of our promotion rivals has a positive goal difference versus our -5. Bournemouth, who everyone says are stuttering, have almost double our points over that period. As good as it is to see us sat in 4th place at this stage of the season, I don't think there's any denying we our the outsider in terms of odds to go up. We've stopped scoring goals and stopped getting results at a very bad point in the season. Of course, that could all change with a few of our injured players back, a couple of wins for us, and a few indifferent results for our rivals, and we could surge up that table. We have the fixtures coming up to do it. But, if we stay in the bottom half of that table, then there's no chance we're even getting a sniff of promotion.
