  1. Haha..More deprived. Nobody took me . I was 13, when I started. See what I missed!
  2. Sadness BBQ LOL! I agree re Hoillett. The Lowe thing is interesting. The process whereby a certain agent put all our "junior" players on ridiculous wages needs looking at.
  3. Yes. At least, I expect them to give us some decent service first. Barker, Dunny and Duff were difficult enough. Jones was a scandal, as I think Mahoney will turn out to be, as well. If I am really going to wallow in my pain, here is a list of pre-Walker departures in my time that were like bereavements: Keith Newton Kenny Knighton Eamonn Rogers Tony Field Roger Jones John Bailey Kevin Hird Simon Barker Colin Hendry ( first time) Heaven knows I'm miserable now!
  4. Yes, how I loved telling that joke! Good to meet you at Burton!
  5. I guess that is the real point-inclusion. Nobody has a monopoly on angst and we are all one family.
  6. Well put, Stuart. The main point of my post was that supporting the club does include the NAPM strategy. At a time, when season tickets have neen mortgaged and loans secured at alarming interest rates, surely "boycotting" is worth a try. I do take your point about bitterness, anger, imprisoning yourself etc.I keep telling myself, though, that it is not about martyrdom. You can still select your home games without needing to use a cilice...Opus Dei Rovers, we are here lol
  7. Unless, of course, you think that withdrawing your financial support might push Venky's nearer the (longed for)exit. You may think that you are actually supporting your club by making that sacrifice, especially when it looks like they have mortgaged next years season tickets.....just saying.
  8. I am not a regular listener, but I hear John Murray was on Talkspite this morning. Anyone got a recording?
  9. Of course, you are right. It is good publicity. I am just frustrated for John that his contribution was edited in that way...
  10. I agree...BUT they edited out so much of his contribution in favour of meaningless pundit babble. Just three words in one paper this morning said more than this whole Football Focus feature..."relentless asset stripping".... "Editing" is a real problem for our attempts to get our story heard. More of John's contribution survived than one of my own on Sky. They cut out the whole thing after I happened to mention agents and the "Who owns Blackburn Rovers?" question...
  11. For my money, the EWMC meetings function, as WAR. Several groups are represented and contribute to the agenda,
  12. Denial is a river in Egypt! So frustrating, I agree.
  13. Blimey, Chaddy. We should all wake up to the issue of agents and people like Simon Conning.
  14. Anderson was not operating on his own, was he?. I think we have had an infestation. There were loads of them feeding off the animal they had brought down. Crucially,I think it would be a big mistake to allow ourselves to be diverted from what is an agent- centric agenda. Expect lots of plant posters to be pushing the new start/all hat was in the past line. The club is rotten. The summer will tell us plenty....but I think I know what to expect
  15. Actually, many performances were very poor. I bought into the idea that he was just doing a patch up job for managing out the season before squad rebuilding in the summer. Cue hysterical laughter..and ambulances
  16. "My client asks me to tell you" lol "Radio Pretend everything is normal! "They closed down the mention of agents and Senior's wife last night. That connection is a matter of record. Can't help comparing the comments of Sutton to those of Gallacher. And Good on Brett Ormerod with his "patronising Paul"....
  17. Kamy, do you think this is relegation by design?
  18. It is deliberate sabotage.......yet people still won't boycott even one game!
  19. Coyle is a key part of their strategy, so no contradiction there.
