And the student protesters?

I absolutely love that. Unfortunately, I am on record for a dismissive comment about the Tiananmen Square students the morning after Selhurst '89. Any time I get on any kind of political high horse, my family love to remind me.

Elton John Concert At Ewood

Maybe, I am just destined to swim against the tide. One if the people in my ..er..facebook bubble posted something about looking forward to the concert. The person is intelligent and lives 3 miles out of Blackburn. My comment "Dirty money for Venky's LOL" Reply "What?" Reply " Really?" Reply "What is Venky's?" Our private Hell is so private, it is secret, off the radar...we are stranded in a Beckett play...screaming in space.. -

Interesting. A bit generous for me. I would say Lawrence and Taylor were misses. Corry Evans is a miss-an expensive one too(salary). He flatters to deceive and seems to miss more games than he plays. Judge I would class as a miss because Bowyer simply wasted him and we could have had a £7million+ player in our team.

Yes. At least, I expect them to give us some decent service first. Barker, Dunny and Duff were difficult enough. Jones was a scandal, as I think Mahoney will turn out to be, as well. If I am really going to wallow in my pain, here is a list of pre-Walker departures in my time that were like bereavements: Keith Newton Kenny Knighton Eamonn Rogers Tony Field Roger Jones John Bailey Kevin Hird Simon Barker Colin Hendry ( first time) Heaven knows I'm miserable now!

I guess that is the real point-inclusion. Nobody has a monopoly on angst and we are all one family. -

Well put, Stuart. The main point of my post was that supporting the club does include the NAPM strategy. At a time, when season tickets have neen mortgaged and loans secured at alarming interest rates, surely "boycotting" is worth a try. I do take your point about bitterness, anger, imprisoning yourself etc.I keep telling myself, though, that it is not about martyrdom. You can still select your home games without needing to use a cilice...Opus Dei Rovers, we are here lol -

Unless, of course, you think that withdrawing your financial support might push Venky's nearer the (longed for)exit. You may think that you are actually supporting your club by making that sacrifice, especially when it looks like they have mortgaged next years season tickets.....just saying. -

I am not a regular listener, but I hear John Murray was on Talkspite this morning. Anyone got a recording? -

Of course, you are right. It is good publicity. I am just frustrated for John that his contribution was edited in that way... -

I agree...BUT they edited out so much of his contribution in favour of meaningless pundit babble. Just three words in one paper this morning said more than this whole Football Focus feature..."relentless asset stripping".... "Editing" is a real problem for our attempts to get our story heard. More of John's contribution survived than one of my own on Sky. They cut out the whole thing after I happened to mention agents and the "Who owns Blackburn Rovers?" question... -

For my money, the EWMC meetings function, as WAR. Several groups are represented and contribute to the agenda, -
