  1. Agreed. No kidding, but I did wonder if O'Neill would come in for him before our Stoke game and I was dead certain that Evans would put a shift in at the Britannia-to that end! Out, I say lol
  2. "Always the victim. It's never your fault!"
  3. Perhaps, they really want to try and get promotion. What a novel idea!
  4. He would have been only too aware of his non -contribution. Being booed by your own fans, now what positive contribution could that ever make to the individual player or the club?
  5. I get the frustration..God knows I am heartily sick of this Rovers shit-show BUT our own fans booing an individual Rovers player can do no good whatsoever.
  6. You are not helping lol..
  7. It must have been a pearler! Agree with the rest of your post.
  8. I once worked in a psychiatric adolescent unit and I remember that the head psych would often tell the kids that it was "a strength" to cry. In all seriousness, this is just supporters, who are rightly p**d off after yet another shit-show, venting their anger. No-one can seriously condemn a man for crying...can they?!
  9. Who is his agent? lol
  10. For me, it's like Bush and Blair with the Iraq war. They need a proper plan and to have thought through (at least a few of)the next steps etc.
  11. Needlessly. indeed. If the owners wanted to deliberately relegate the club in 2012, they could hardly have acted differently. Same again in 2016...
  12. Yes, I think that bird has flown. Bournemouth, QPR, Derby, Villa, Sheff Wed etc.
  13. Hmmm...I am sure he is in a bit of a crisis. No shame in tears, as far as I am concerned. He is certainly visibly lacking in confidence. At the moment, he looks shit, I know, but booing aint going to help one bit.
  14. And what was his reply?.."Snap!"
  15. Oh, I agree with your last sentence. If we were a normal club and used some of the fee to get a "no-nonsense" replacement to play alongside Tosin, it might be ok for this season. I guess I haven't got that deep belief in Lenihan.
  16. This may be the day that the Ewood crowd finally turns!
  17. Not on a wind- up, but is Lenihan really that good and how reliable is his fitness?
  18. I really hope you are right and it is only strategy, but....
  19. No treasure chest lol. In all our seasons in the Championship, since the take-over disaster, we have only made even the top 10 twice- with 8th and 9th finishes (2014 and 2015) The other Championship finishes have been 15th (twice),17th and 22nd(relegated). There is no ambition with these"ever so humble" owners...and, it seems, no point. Compare this to our valiant attempts in the 70's and 80's... FOV...
  20. It is like he has bought expensive whiskey and is pouring it straight down the toilet. cutting out the middle man
  21. Agreed. I would almost say their choice of managers has shown the premiership was being avoided.. Actually leaving Kean in post in the summer of 2011 spoke absolute volumes. Then, to do it again in 2012 screamed it from the rooftops. The manager appointments since then have wreaked of no on-field ambition. The Coyle appointment was pure Venky's self-parody. As ever, it comes down to that unanswered question. Why are they here?
  22. ...not to mention "fees" paid for Samuel, Whittingham, Chapman, Caddis etc
