So, so frustrating. And I felt last January was unforgivable. Then the injuries came in the Brentford game, immediately after the window of neglect. This year-I know we have had dreadful luck-but we knew about three of these injuries before the window shut-two of them before the window even opened. Now, I am looking back on this quote from TM earlier in the season. "If we’re in the top half of the table and threatening the top six around Christmas and the new year I can hopefully go to the owners and ask for some more help and that last little push to try and push us ultimately to where we want to be." Ambition...or playing us for mugs?

But 2 of them were injured before the window even closed..No need for a medium there! Given that we all knew that games were coming thick and fast, surely not even you would have expected not to have lost at least one more player to injury by mid-February. I know the club usually ask for the questions in advance and pass them on to Andy Bayes in the chair. It is very hard to get the important, well-crafted questions asked properly and even harder to get the space to follow up on the "answers". One barrier occurs, when our Mr Bayes reads out and jumbles several questions at once, which tends to blunt the individual questions. Anyway, there are still a good few outstanding questions that they have never answered, despite the best efforts of some on this board. Starter for 10.. Where is Suhail?

That is what worries me. I can't remember a longer period without Rovers having " a right good go" at promotion from the second tier. God, we have never even been in contention. All that debt and in the playoff positions for what- 15 minutes! Instead of bolstering this team to push on, the club has routinely wasted the key moments. Now, in the summer, we will have to rebuild again.
