  1. One of my all time favourite players. I can still see that goal v Bradford into the Darwen End...35-40 yards?
  2. I would find your perspective very interesting.
  3. Ah, but it is a "known known". We both know that he knows that you don't do twitter.. That is exactly why he makes his comments, where you cannot reply or challenge his slurs.
  4. How many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?
  5. Reckless-exactly. I just don't get it. I can't help but think other factors-darker forces even- might have been at work...
  6. Is a dorm table, when the team is placed according to the degree to which the football sends us all to sleep?
  7. Very well interviewed.. Great to see that it is still going-long after Sham had to try and field Bryan Hamilton's moral indignation/uproar on Radio Lancs. He railed against that 21st Century Fox front cover with the picture of the dirty toilets in the Blackburn End! The club soon fixed the toilets though lol
  8. If the message is lack of ambition, then interest and attendances will only drop. Managed decline...
  9. Definitely happened. We saw it..and cringed lol
  10. Again, you also have to ask why were these managers were appointed in the first place? To win promotion? Come on!
  11. I think he claimed constructive dismissal. He jumped when he and Anderson thought they could extract a pay- off?
  12. I think that is the issue, Paul. The people that represent Rovers in these meetings seem to do their best to answer questions, but they are only minions in this bizarre scheme of things. Mostly, I think they all come across as decent people. Cheston, you could argue, was merely playing the company man in persistently refusing to disclose what went on over the Warnock/ Coyle thing, while he was on holiday. However, as this was a particularly crucial, costly decision, I do see that refusal as dishonest. We know Suhail is a key person-said to be the direct link to Venky's-and he has never deigned to attend. The Raos, meanwhile, remain remote.
  13. Lol. I am thinking 5 families....The Raos, Barzinis, Tattaglias..plus the MacDonalds and Campbells
  14. We still recall his defence of Kean, one of his fellows from the same stable. Pulis was another(from the same stable) who came out in support. Many of us had read the Guardian piece about SEM's role at Bolton and Rovers. So, when Coyle said he had never heard of SEM, that said plenty. Later, he went one stage further before one of the supporters' meetings, as he sought to distance himself from the cockney wide boy." What's his name again?" I guess there were some, who believed him...... And so..to HSH....
  15. And listen to the comments from Clark Carlisle (sorry, I know!) about the culture and amateurish training methods, even at Burnley. Similar stuff to what was said at Bolton and Wigan-well before he arrived here. Indeed, Carlisle gives credit to Cotterill for assembling that Burnley promotion side
  16. BUT....results (his own performance) weren't even part of the recruitment criteria, when he arrived. Any fool could see that from a glance at his CV!
  17. Oh, I know. It was a joke( which I couldn't resist) about the whole conversation, rather than a dig at you. I guess there is a serious point though. So many of us are so pissed off with recent events, I guess we have slipped into the blame frame, where everything is Tony's fault.
  18. Does that mean they should have sent Dack and Evans to a psychiatrist instead of a surgeon lol?
  19. So, so frustrating. And I felt last January was unforgivable. Then the injuries came in the Brentford game, immediately after the window of neglect. This year-I know we have had dreadful luck-but we knew about three of these injuries before the window shut-two of them before the window even opened. Now, I am looking back on this quote from TM earlier in the season. "If we’re in the top half of the table and threatening the top six around Christmas and the new year I can hopefully go to the owners and ask for some more help and that last little push to try and push us ultimately to where we want to be." Ambition...or playing us for mugs?
  20. I am thinking Blonde on Blonde and one track, which is a whole side long...
  21. But 2 of them were injured before the window even closed..No need for a medium there! Given that we all knew that games were coming thick and fast, surely not even you would have expected not to have lost at least one more player to injury by mid-February. Oh, the space between being Nostradamus and being in denial about the impact of no transfer business!
