  1. Let's hear it for the elephant's memory. Glad to hear I am not on my own!
  2. Was he really ever ok in League 1 though?
  3. As regards, TM, I am stuffing my face with humble pie. Indeed, there was no dish that I could have wanted more.
  4. I think the best thing we could say is that the jury is out. Caddis, Gladwin, Chapman, Brereton, Bell. The Radio Lancs commentary described Brereton, as poor, lacking in confidence with negative body language etc. Bell was very good yesterday. Have we been playing his twin brother? Gallagher and Johnson have much more to prove, but I do remain hopeful. TM's comments about Johnson's fitness/commuting do show a management issue for me. Grateful for another good weekend after a very encouraging performance from TM and his players. Hope it gives a boost to half-season tickets Meanwhile, what a horrible little toad that Lee Johnson is...
  5. Good to see that our artists are soldiers too. I have worried that we are a bit of a soft touch, but it was so good to read the LT saying we have become horrible to play against.
  6. He would deserve the chance, but I am not convinced about his dexterity in the transfer market. Maybe, he would need some help in that department...but I am ahead of myself!
  7. A classic case of an insecure referee, who was desperate for an opportunity to even it up...
  8. Great, great memories..
  9. In fairness, none of us know how Downing and Graham have recovered from Saturday or how much of three games a week they can manage. My own observation is that Graham is not moving with ease "across the grass".
  10. Very fond memories. Popular manager and funny man too.
  11. How would I feel? Bitter, twisted-like my favourite Christmas character?
  12. ...with all that premiership money, remember..
  13. You're probably right. I am really enjoying the moment, but I wish I was more confident that it will last. Tosin is absolute class and his combination with Lenihan looks very good indeed. I am all for patience, but I do think we look a wee bit laboured with all our passing sideways across the back and backwards from midfield. Also, we are not clicking in the final third. Well done Tony and Rovers for the last four games. Much appreciated!. A good January could make us into a decent playoff proposition. About 10 other clubs will be thinking the same thing...
  14. Haha. Happy Christmas to the Spectre at the Feast! Take care, some people might start accusing you of wanting our team to lose! Seriously, though, I think you have named a central concern there.
  15. Haha..Weirdly, Greer had been at Rovers years before as well. In his previous spell, he would have hardly made nan appearance...
  16. Yes, t certainly does look like that collective spirit is alive and thriving. I had begun to worry about it after that Barnsley performance.
  17. I don't believe buying clubs are influenced by anything a manager says in a tabloid paper. Information is passed behind the scenes with agents and other shadowy figures.
  18. Me too. I can't help remembering Tony Hancock.. "And there's Cliff Richard, earning more than the prime minister. Now, is that right!"
  19. I am not sure it is disgraceful, to be honest. We all know if he doesn't sign soon, we would have to sell him anyway. We couldn't afford to let his contract run down. One worry is that he is 26 now and maybe Dack has been indicating he feels it is the right time to move. Another unknown issue is about how much the club want to try and keep him and how much it has already been decided to cash in.... Anyway, I have zero confidence in the money being put to good use on the pitch.
