  1. I have the yellow Kappa, with Jansen on the back.. Last years black&white, surely they were black and grey? Anyway, Feyenoord probably has a suitable away kit?
  2. If you move away from your rainhole and in to the real Norway, Bjarte, you'd might get cheaper tickets.. the meetup idea was a good one, though.
  3. If you say so, just passing on information from the lowlevelled referee I know. He was told this at his last course, and this was also the explanation the referee at the day used?
  4. The new rule says that Cissè was not offside. It's ridiculous imo, but that's the new rule, according to a refereeing friend of mine.
  5. Oslo - Amsterdam with arrival 7 in the morning on the match day - departure the next morning from Amsterdam around 8. Price around 100 pounds, but no hotel needed - will need match tickets though
  6. Don't know what rawk mean tbh.. anyway, 'Colossal', 'Mind's Eye' and 'Where Eagles Have Been' are three songs I really like from their album. Especially the vocal attracts me, without taking it too far he sounds a bit like Robert Plant, at least in the latter two songs mentioned above. The man below is also someone you should check out, if you're into that kind of thing. A bit Danko Jones, without being that much of a prick. Anyway, fantastic guitarist and great live show. Some songs under 'media' here
  7. Looks like I'm joining you for that one, if the tickets for the game works out..
  8. Rovers 9th. It's a battle for fourth place then.
  9. Sorry, you are right squaylor - the flag also says Belgium!
  10. Braga is Portuguese, whilst Mlada Boleslav is a very decent team from the Czech Republic. As for Zulte.. the flag says Polish
  11. Expect Newcastle to struggle.. :) When will the match dates and location be up?
  12. No highlights on youtube and such yet then? Lovely goal by Bentley, great linkup play and a fine finish.
  13. Wouldn't say the shoe fits, it's not how I see myself as a footballfan anyway. The tackle on Cissè from behind wasn't pretty, and I admit that I thought "that was a bit over-the-top" when it happened. It's always been like this though, like you say there's a lot of EPL players who dish out punishments. I don't think Lucas was thinking "I'll end his career with a broken foot" when he lunged in, but who knows.. I just know, from my own experience, some players are annoying and makes you want to strengthen the challenge. (if that's a footballing term.. )
  14. I'm into Wolfmother these days, I believe they are from Australia? Anyway, was planning on seeing them on Roskilde festival, but it turned out to be impossible, so bought the cd and have enjoyed it since. Very good vocals and a bit similar to a lot of good rock bands.. (favourite song atm being Mind's Eye) They've opened a lot of Pearl Jam gigs too, but unfortunately they decided to fly out Tarantula Ad instead - for the Prague concert I attended .. Oh, and I can't stop writing about Roky Erickson, absolute legend.
  15. In my opinion, there's a difference in going in rough on a player (like Cissè in the above example) and deliberately trying to seriously hurt people. (Keane on Haaland)
  16. Dunn? I'd rather take a look at Boumsong, Amoruso, Ferguson to name a few..
  17. Can someone please explain why Nonda is nicknamed Chris? (ref. rovers.co.uk)
  18. Jan: Look what the £5m brought us, Steven Reid and Brett Emerton. Would you swap those two for Dunn now?
  19. So, who played? And more importantly, who messed up?
