Let's make it a fair comparison - win percentages in the Championship. Farke at Norwich - 51.4% Mowbray at Rovers - 36.2% They do have similar records in the fact that Farke has won 71 Championship matches with Norwich and Mowbray has won 72 with Rovers. It just took Mowbray an extra 61 games to get that 1 extra win.

Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?

Ethan Walker? -
Completely agree. I used to be bored to tears watching us under Allardyce. There were games when we wouldn't look like scoring unless it was from a long throw, corner or free-kick. By all means, use the likes of Samba to add a few scrappy goals a season from set pieces, but don't become totally reliant on them. Was I glad we got rid of Allardyce? Yes. Was I glad we replaced him with Kean? Obviously not. Having said that - I'd take Dyche in our current situation.

Perfect end to the season 😂

Ben Brereton Diaz, Dan Butterworth, Tyler Magloire and Jordan Eastham have all been informed that the club have taken up the option to extend their registration for a further 12 months, keeping them contracted until June 30th 2023. Bradley Johnson, Jacob Davenport, Harry Chapman, Luke Brennan, Connor McBride, Sam Durrant and Joe Nolan, along with scholars Joe Ferguson, Brandon Lonsdale and Evan Cunningham, will not be retained upon the expiration of their current agreements, whilst Joe Rothwell has confirmed that he will be leaving the club this summer. Rovers remain in contract talks with defenders Darragh Lenihan and Ryan Nyambe, however as both players are over the age of 24, they are entitled to discuss their options with other clubs. -

The Ben Marshall one is a fascinating insight though. -

I'm not his biggest fan, but over the last four seasons he has failed to start in 33 games and we've only won 7 of them. We definitely do better when he plays. -

Cedric Kipre is available again, though I don't think he's had much game time over the last couple of years. -

Just saw a clip from the Undr the Cosh with Mark Atkins. He said Alan Shearer came in on £10k a week when Rovers were first promoted to the Premier League and he was on a basic wage of £1,200 a week. Different world to now. -
Exactly that. but are unlikely to have the same bearing as they did during their last managerial search Clearly they picked a manager last time that was happy to work with existing coaches. Now it is being suggested a managers willingness to work with existing coaches won't have the same bearing. Pointless sacking them all and giving them a pay-off and then realising that the new man coming in really rates one of them as a coach. Let him decide who we keep.

Definite downgrade on Van Hecke, but if we could persuade Lenihan and Nyambe to stay, it would be excellent having four defenders that have come through the youth ranks competing for spots (Lenihan, Nyambe, Wharton and Carter) - then you've got the likes of Phillips coming through as well. We do produce some decent defenders. I think Carter can play at right back as well? -
"Conversations over backroom staff are expected to form part of the discussions with the new manager, but are unlikely to have the same bearing as they did during their last managerial search" I'm reading that a bit differently to most. I'm taking that as, "We've not got rid of them yet (in case the new manager wants them), but if the new manager wants to bring in his own backroom team, then we will discuss it with him".
