  1. I thought he was officially leaving on the 30th June? Official site still lists him as our manager.
  2. Tom-as-son's Blue and White Army is how I'd do it. Elongate the surname. I'm not going to start this after Chaddy started with Carlos Carvalhal's Blue and White Army. That ended well.
  3. They'd won the league 6 times in 30 years before Tomasson. Then he won it 2 years in a row (they'd finished 2nd and 3rd the seasons before he joined). He also won the league and cup double. As far as I can make out it was 1988 the last time they did that.
  4. Well I wanted a gamble rather than a safe appointment - but one with some managerial experience (ie. not Ferguson). JDT certainly ticks those boxes. He comes across very well in interviews. I'd rather JDT than Rooney all day long. We could be rolling the dice and getting a one - but equally we could be getting a six. Better than sticking with a 'three' every year.
  5. Could leave Rovers with an interesting decision 😂 Like which taxi firm we are sending him to the airport with.
  6. Which makes me wonder....maybe the new manager is now known internally, and he's not happy with it?
  7. Absolutely. I'm excited at the appointment of Broughton....just because it gives hope of Knutsen. Knutsen would be an incredible appointment - not one I thought possible.

  9. If that was true....could be potentially exciting on the manager front
  10. But the other 65% of his Achilles was very brave.
  11. Absolutely!!! Not a chance that a cricket ball missed Kean's head by inches and he didn't make sure everyone in the media knew he was the victim.
  12. At this rate he will have to be bringing Liam Manning back to life to take the job if the process takes any longer. (I know Little and Atkinson are still alive)
  13. Decisions, decisions...
  14. I never rated N'Zonzi. It used to drive me mad when he'd throw his arms around after losing the ball and not bother running back. I'm amazed that he went on to have the career he did and play for the clubs he did.
  15. His season only started in November, surely that's a short season?
  16. At this rate, your friend's Labrador will be odds on favourite in a couple of weeks.
  17. In fact, if you look at who Sky Bet currently have has favourites, he's by far the most experienced manager out of any of them (as Carvalhal isn't actually available anymore, so shouldn't be on there)
  18. A manager with over 500 games under his belt. Let's go for Ferguson instead.
  19. I doubt we'd have to pay anything. Sounds to me like Everton want rid, but are too scared to ask him to leave 😂
