I was thinking before about magloire. He is supposedly faster than neymar and one of the fastest players in Europe. who decided he should play CB. I am in no way saying the decision to play him there is wrong as obviously a lot of better qualified people who see him day in day out clearly know more but isn’t it a waste of his main asset. plenty of players convert to different positions over the years, Dublin, Sutton etc. i just wondered why or how he ended up at CB and not on the wing/ striker. Seems a waste of a real quality attribute to me. Teach the lad to cross and shoot and let him loose . His tracking back would be excellent with his speed and tackling. this is all probably bollocks and he is a natural CB but I thought I’d throw it out there

Joe hart has been a fantastic keeper over the years. He has been poor for the last three seasons but overall he has been top draw. city fans still sing his name. if he came here and settled he could be a very important player for us. It would be a gamble as three years of poor form doesn’t look great and fill anybody with confidence. He would shout and organise a defence that’s for sure. I think he would be a good signing personally and taking a step down to the championship I think he would do a similar job to what Robinson did for us. hes to young to have lost it completely and I think once he got his confidence back he would be a shrewd signing

He would get in that city squad. For perspective, foden and Diaz the exception, they had davenport as captain the season before last and he was one of their better players. Nmecha was there main threat and he has struggled at Preston. They have just resigned Angelino who must have kicked on in the 12 months he had away. City have a superb youth set up but not many go on to higher than championship level. Buckley’s style of play would be perfect for that city team and I’m sure he would establish himself in that team. He would never get near there first team squad so I don’t know why any kid on the cusp of breaking through our team would leave as he would more than likely end up back out on loan. With the exception of four or five the rest of the squad is no better than what we have hence the reason we finished fifth and they finished three places below us for every sancho there are ten jack Byrnes. Couldn't make it here and he was highly thought of.

In my humble untrained opinion he is and I’m sure others would back me up. technically brilliant, creates space, never seems to be marked or in a rush just picks the ball up in acres of space and can hit passes, dribble. He has a good engine, very mobile and likes to get stuck in and out a foot in. I’ve seen him play centre mid (his best position imo) RB, RW And he was the best on the field including the opposition anywhere he played. What he lacks in physical strength he makes up for with tenacity and work rate. He is a yard quicker in his head than those around him. Really good football brain and technical ability. i honestly think he’s class. Still can improve, I think he needs to shoot more From distance and make more runs into the box ala lampard but everything he lacks can Ben taught . The qualities he has some will never learn. Very naturally gifted

Butterworth and magloire are promising young players. Buckley is the real deal . He could do with being kicked in league 1 or two for a season and half but if he continues developing he willing be a very good player for us. Last time i said this about a player was o connell and travis. He really is the cream of a very decent crop. i saw abit of davenport at city and he is another I think will blossom this season and become a first team regular. I saw enough in his debut to know he should be ahead of evans And Smallwood who need moving on immediately
