They are very damning stats for someone who played in the majority as an attacking forward in one of the better teams in the league. One assist from a right sided forward is appalling and two goals isn't much better and he can't hide behind pulis tactics because we play not to dissimilar with inferior players

I always rated him in his premier league days but in all honesty haven't Seen much of him over the last couple of years so have no idea what we have actually signed. If he is anything like the downing of years gone by then we have a good un. Time will tell. I just hope to god it isn't to the detriment of chapman or even rothwell

In isolation I think Sam Gallagher would be a terrific signing and think 5 million would prove to be excellent business. However with the lack of budget and needing defense and a keeper sorting as a priority I think he is a luxury we cannot afford as well as the possibility Tony plays him anywhere but as the main striker and ruins him would also be a major concern. If dack is sold for 12 million plus I would bite Southampton hand off. I'd be enquiring about the Reed situation why I was up there
