  1. They are very damning stats for someone who played in the majority as an attacking forward in one of the better teams in the league. One assist from a right sided forward is appalling and two goals isn't much better and he can't hide behind pulis tactics because we play not to dissimilar with inferior players
  2. I always rated him in his premier league days but in all honesty haven't Seen much of him over the last couple of years so have no idea what we have actually signed. If he is anything like the downing of years gone by then we have a good un. Time will tell. I just hope to god it isn't to the detriment of chapman or even rothwell
  3. I'm waiting for him to have a blinder at barrow ala caddis v York and everyone to start saying he is the second coming pleased he's signed now can we get some real business done that will actual make a difference to the worst defence in the entire football league.
  4. Still learning his trade until he reaches the mature age of 25 probably
  5. If true I don't think its a bad signing providing he isn't gobbling up the wage budget........and tony doesn't play him at cb
  6. Astonishing. Can’t believe what I’ve just seen. With everything at stake for both teams as well. very very poor from the ref
  7. I could see grealish go to spurs and dack as his replacement. Let’s hope not.
  8. Will be buying this when it’s released. Absolutely loved the guy and was devasted for him. Potential that will never be realised as he got better and better with every passing game and had every attribute to make it to the top. Besides all the wonderful memories he gave us I still remember jumping wildly when he scored against Pompey and I thought he was on his way back. I will always think what if and if only. Forever an unfinished story in rovers history. wish him all the luck in the world and would love to see him back at rovers in some capacity one day
  9. That was my first ever rovers shirt and my favourite off all time for that reason. Will always get goosebumps when I see that shirt
  10. I just hope Ghandi doesn’t fancy another visit. if he sees his clothing he will think he knows how to keep a clean sheet and before you know it he’s got the gloves on
  11. Friendlies against clitheroe, Southport , Kendal town and Lancaster confirmed today on official website
  12. If you press the red button You can get celebrity commentary maybe you have sat on the remote and your arse has selected Sean connery
  13. If you have ever heard a politician speak and listen to mowbray you will work it out. Peace
  14. Yeah your right. Forget the venkys wanted to spend on a promotion push and he had to reign them in, forget he said there is cash left over from two windows and now it's vanished, forget that we have to sell our best players and replace them with unproven youth players. Forget that the sole aim of our club is to churn out talent for clubs with ambition, forget he said we need to sign proven championship quality players because the ones we have aren't good enough then back tracked and now we are signing players who need development, forget he said top two is the aim and then everything else that followed suggests a team treading water , forget he's set up a scouting system but we are still being linked to ex Coventry players who have done nothing. Your right I am negative. I never used to be but I am because i can see what's happening. I wish I could pretend all is going to be rosy and we are slowly building something, we are not. I don't believe Tony can take us forward, I don't believe venkys have our best intentions and I don't believe we will get anywhere near the top six why either is in charge. I will stop posting and moaning and lurk in the background because I love this club and want my children to see a full ewood and premier league football and it hurts me that they will never feel the way I did when they are watching mowbray play an ex Coventry striker on the left wing and seeing darragh, dack and anyone else who has a half decent season flogged to a promotion chasing team to see the funds thrown into a blackhole that can probably never be plugged. The last 12 months and with Tony saying they wanted to back a promotion and there was cash left gave me a glimmer of hope after what has been a horrific decade. You want to be positive fine, I say your burying your head in the sand to the reality of what we are and we're we are going....nowhere I'm out. Enjoy your transfer thread.
  15. I think Armstrong will start but yeah I agree
  16. Everything points to a villa win but I just have a feeling derby are going to do it.
  17. I'm starting to believe he's Just another character in this farce
  18. That's why my initial reaction was anger. I'm sick of being fed BS and it looks like I've eaten another four courses of it over the last 12 month. Every window is just lies, frustration and disappointment.
  19. Can't wait. When's it released ?
  20. Completely hypothetical but would anyone do a straight swap with Southampton with dack going one way and Reed and Gallagher coming to ewood ? (There's no real transfer stories to discuss so why not )
  21. I'd like Sunderland to win. North over south any day. Plus Sunderland is a new ground for me . Although it will make the new documentary less fun
  22. I wish they would proof read it before publishing but content is very good
  23. In isolation I think Sam Gallagher would be a terrific signing and think 5 million would prove to be excellent business. However with the lack of budget and needing defense and a keeper sorting as a priority I think he is a luxury we cannot afford as well as the possibility Tony plays him anywhere but as the main striker and ruins him would also be a major concern. If dack is sold for 12 million plus I would bite Southampton hand off. I'd be enquiring about the Reed situation why I was up there
