Summer Transfer Window 2019
Oldgregg86 replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
He isn't on loan and was at city. He scored 5 against our u21s and is the best player I have seen ever at that level (as a one off match) I thought he would go on to big things but has been floating round league one for quite a few seasons now. Don't know what happened -
Reduced prices for Swansea game.

I don't believe he will ever be good enough for the championship but I understand what your saying regarding rovers missing talent and them flourishing elsewhere, although it's still a mute point because as long as he is at rovers he will continue to stagnate. His best chance is to elsewhere and try and develop a style that will suit him and get minutes -

Summer Transfer Window 2019

Your right. It is very harsh. But do we want to compete at the top end or do we want to fight at the bottom. Tony is the one saying we want to fight at the top end and splashing 7 million on youth projects. If your doing that you need the right players and ambition. Bring in some first team decent striker and Ben can have as much time as he needs to develop. Nuttall can go on loan until he's old enough for everyone to realise he isn't good enough. If we have any ambition and want to progress as a team and compete. Brereton (next season), Samuel and nuttall are not going to fire you to your targets. It's as simple as that for me Honestly would any of those three get in to a starting 11 and be used from the bench week in week out in the top ten teams this season ? Look at the teams they possibly would get in and which way they are going -

Glad you said it. He is truly terrible at this level. Dominic Samuel is better than nuttall and brereton and I would sell him in a heartbeat. We need some real strikers. Hungry, ready made goalscorers with ability not these failed experimental flops -
3 or 4 nil. Fair play to all who travelled

Summer Transfer Window 2019

Non of it matters if he doesn't bring in better. If he signs three or four who arnt up to going into the first 11 no matter who he gets rid of I don't see how the team can improve enough to trouble the top six. His recruitment is everything. Then he has to adapt his style of play and formation which will take some adjusting to. This is all assuming we keep hold of lenihan and dack. Only time will tell if it's going to work or not but at least he is saying the right things and is starting the summer in the right manner and mindsight. -

I heard gladwin, conwayand leutwiler are going. With the likes of Samuel, nuttall, Smallwood being judged. I wouldn't get to carried away until he signs someone and plays them in the first team. I am absolutely convinced he will stick with the usuals even with new signings changing one or two after a few poor performances. I pray I'm wrong but what he says and does are never the same thing. If he does what I've said it will be small improvements providing he gets the recruitment right but it won't be the ruthless get three or four first teamers in and push the usuals down the pecking order. -

He was also wearing a full leg brace. That might have something to do with it to. He said he was out for the rest of the season -

I believed he would be gone and not coming back. After speaking to him (briefly) I wouldn't rule it out. I think if Southampton don't want him he would come back. You know that kind of grin? -

I spoke to Reed and asked him would he be coming back. He just kept saying we will see with a big grin on his face. Make of that what you will -
Christ, four wins in a row , correct team selection, off scouting Europe and comments like that. I'm going to have to change my vote if he keeps this up.

They were singing sacked in the morning. Was this aimed at Parkinson. I would have thought he has done a decent job considering everything that surrounds that circus
