The codfather. Ba dum ch -
What have you seen to suggest he has any issues with attitude. He has come in, played reasonably well, caused no unrest when he's been benched and in and out the team and I see no issues with fitness barring his injuries which can't be put on him ?

No thanks . I don't fancy that one bit

The line up, the result, clean sheet, kids get a game, nice weather . I couldn't find anything to moan about today.... Until I saw this monstrosity. Waggots only been dying Jack's fountain claret. Your welcome fellow moaners Edit. Picture won't load.

Can I have a go. Rome wasn't built in a day but Tony has managed to get most of it done in an afternoon but decides to takes the rest of the week off. After several months everyone has thanked Tony for what he did up to now but wants to know when he plans on putting the roofs on. He reminds everyone he has built a city before and it will take time find the right material for the roof. The people believe him, after all, he has built some solid foundations. Some of the town's people remind the villagers who the contractors are and the foundations are on dodgy ground and people are over looking the fact that rome is being built on swamp land. Severel months pass and the people are still asking when is the roof going to be finished. Tony reminds them whilst he could put down the lemon drizzle and build roofs for everyone he is contracted until 2022 and is in no rush to finish what he started, pointing to what it was like before he did start building. The apathetic people go back to there homes not really knowing if he has scouted the right materials for a roof and how long they are going to have to sit with rain lashing down on them. The village idiot, a man called chabby. Tells everyone it's all fine he's done a great job. The people remind him of last time he came shouting in the street , before pointing to why Rome had burned down in the first place. Chabby pointed to a letter that Steve maggot had put the council tax up for people who pay monthly. Chabby laughed at people complaining and showed everyone how he paid for the whole year before sloping off to take his misses for a romantic tuesday fingering in one of Tony's unfinished buildings. Time drags on and on. The damage being caused by the element due to there being no roof is becoming evident. People are getting concerned and ask Tony why he hasn't put a roof on when he had done the hard work and was sat eating lemon drizzle. Tony answered as usual by sayings it takes time to find the right materials and blamed a man named Joe frothwell for being to flamboyant with his crazy paving and spilling cement behind him. Unrest grows. The houses are badly damaged due to being exposed to the elements so long. Tonys better builders find work elsewhere as there tired of sitting watching him eat biscuits and not fix the problems. The city starts to collapse and all the hard work at the beginning was for nothing. Chabby points to the foundations that have remained intact and which weren't there before Tony came but the people are angry after living for three years with no roof and now have to wait for a new contractor to start again and hopefully build a city, not pocket the upfront cash, go on sky sports news crying and slither back into the under growth. After a good start , Rome wasn't built in a day, it never got finished and eventually collapsed killing all the people with it. Happy Easter everyone

Pulis and allardyce help your argument though. There is possibly something in it as a generalisation and Howe and alike could be the exception to the rule. You would have to analyse alot of managers from a few leagues to make a good assessment What we need is Chris Sutton who played both. Although Lincoln fans might disagree

I thought we played really well. The way rothwell gets his head up and switches the play is something we have missed all season and it's bringing the best out of Armstrong who has been excellent this half. Just need ben to come, stay on his feet and find the net, send Bolton down Monday and it's happy Easter everyone

Eddie howe- defender It's a good theory but I think it's down to how the individual thinks the game should be played

Tony's Transfer Record Part 2
Oldgregg86 replied to Blue blood's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I'd say that's a fair summery -
I'm not going to be critical of the line up. We all asked for consistency, rothwell and the smallwood/Evans axis breaking up, he did it we won and he has stuck to it. Would be harsh to drop anyone after the last two games. We can't have it both ways. However starting the keeper suggests he is going to stay as back up, another worrying sign, or is he giving Raya a day off and showing some of that loyalty to a guy who needs a break before summer, I e managing the squad. That still doesn't excuse not taking a few of the young lads to stick on the bench. Just travelling down with the first team is good experience. Buckley, Butterworth and magloire should be on that bench today and for the rest of the season. I don't know why he opens his mouth if he has no intentions of doing what he says.

If Tony was the driver most people would get back in the car after he says in his calm reassuring accent he understands the passengers frustration. You get back in the car and he reverses you all the way home with w few more bumps and near misses. He apologizes and they book him again. This time you have kids with you so he is extra careful. He puts the child locks on, seat belt and drives safely round the corner to the Petrol station where he tells the kids to stretch there legs. He forgets all about the kids and drives off. A passer by sees the crying lost child and picks him up. The kid grows up and gets his own car comes back, with a vengance and a baseball bat and destroys Tony's battered Volvo . Or maybe not and I've just started drinking since 11 ?

1-0 calling it now

I think he is waiting until summer then he can buy a bigger tombola

I think var will ultimately end up making the right decisions and improve overall ...I just don't like it. If the last minute Sterling goal was onside and city went through then var would have killed the moment. Can you imagine the famous AGUEROOOOW moment being referred to VAR . So whilst it will eventually make the game fairer with more correct decisions I just don't think it's worth it -
How did he perform defensively when playing there
-
Has Rankin Costello been playing at rb this season ? He was always a right winger / number 10 when I've seen him. Quick, slight and a good dribbler. Not saying it's a bad idea. In the modern game I could see him play in the style of Alexander Arnold but I don't know anything about his defensive capabilities. Just wondering have you seen him play there or is it where you think he should play. I.e the way Travis was a rb and has excelled in central midfield

Gk. Raya Rb. Nyambe. Cb. Lenihan Cb. Williams Lb. Bell Cdm. Travis Cdm. Buckley Ram. Rothwell Cm. Dack Lam. Chapman F. Brereton Subs. Magloire, Butterworth for a decent cameo. Bennett to come on to waste time and fist pump the sun burned Lancashire lads n lasses. Didn't include Rodwell as I simply don't think he will be here next season
