Highly likely. JDT is of far higher calibre than Eustace in my opinion. The players didn’t like his high standards. Eustace is deemed a better man manager - I just think the players get an easier ride.

I doubt we will get anything close to that - only got 6 months on his contract. They will likely get rid just to get his (apparently high) wages off the books.

Siggy injured again according to Eustace. We are never going to see him again are we - real shame his heart wasn’t in it/it hasn’t worked as he is a good player, looked superb at the start of last season.

Appreciate the comments but ultimately you need quality to solve problem A and B. Agree, tonight was better - but still poor at home against a side who haven’t scored many away and a number of places below us in the table. We have to keep our shape as we aren’t very good and Eustace is so tactically rigid/naive. That said, you can’t help Gueye missing an open net and Yuki falling over.

My dislike for Gestede after his comments this week is immense. Becoming apathetic to the players and Eustsce now. Rank mediocrity. Cantwell is the only player in that team with any quality. You get what you pay for. But thanks Venkys for all you do (FAO Rudy). Eustace is also a crap manager for what it’s worth.

Will we ever score again? Been great this half but it all goes wrong when it gets to their box.

Almost forgot this game was happening. I don’t imagine many changes from the weekend - Eustace seems to think we played well. He also doesn’t seem to be the most tactically savvy. Hedges and Dolan again and I think Gueye will get the nod over Ohashi. 0-1 Stoke.

People forget, after a decent start to the season, we brought in c£35m on transfer fees the last two years (possibly more?). We spent, what, £2m? As ever, you get what you pay for. That is fundamentally the problem and who is to blame for that….? Our repugnant owners. We are going nowhere and wont in a hurry. At this point I’m almost apathetic to the players and Eustace, who I do not rate at all.

Poor. We have a total lack of quality, Cantwell and Beck aside. Every time we get the ball we lose it and only one or two brave enough on the ball to make something happen. JRC gifting them a first goal didnt help much. We could play until November next year and not score - did we have a shot on target? Gueye is extremely bad.

Not very good. Sad as I was naively optimistic when we signed him. The video he did with Cantwell was concerning.....couldn't hit an open net!

If they get further embroiled in a relegation battle the likelihood of them letting him have the surgery decreases. Feel for Adam, hope they look after him. Can foresee another Michael Owen scenario where he is overplayed through injuries to benefit the club.

Cantwell been the best player for us, wants the ball and has some quality. Good three points but my word that second half was bleak. Yuki was bright too. Work to do. Much better with Beck in the side and Carter at CB.

We are crap with the ball. Give it away every time. Lack of quality is pretty worrying.

Beck is so so so much better than Pickering

Zero chance he is dropping Pears (unfortunately). Not expecting too many changes, he seems to have two favourities in Hedges and Dolan. I think he will start Gueye and bench Ohashi after his travelling. I HOPE he plays Beck. Brittain played last night so wont start tomorrow.
