  1. Perhaps not, but a proactive club would try? Or do we just hold our hands up and do nothing? Dont ask, dont get.
  2. Does anyone have any confidence that the club (without a CEO…) will put forward a stronger case than Ipswich for the result to stand. Ipswich will likely already have got a lawyer involved and a strong argument put together. Match will be replayed.
  3. I hope this leads to a more progressive and capable coach coming in. The U21s have been poor this season and majority of last. With the investment Category 1 requires, it needs a top coach.
  4. Great work @wilsdenrover - thanks for all the efforts tracking the chaos and updating us all on this.
  5. Pathways = Gueye moves on for Tyjon. Saving money and creating these so called pathways are objective 1 and 2.
  6. No way Dawson comes under the current wage 'structure'. So either: 1. they break it 2. it doesn't happen Think we all know what the outcome is
  7. Interesting post on LinkedIn from Gregg Broughton. I imagine he is looking at this situation with a great degree of vindication. In hindsight, he did a good job not just on transfers but also contract renewals. The key difference to Gestede, he didn't seem to be an arrogant, ego driven piece of work (note his praise for others). Rather someone who genuinely had good intentions and wanted the best for the club. Likely why he was shown the door. Sad.
  8. Seems to be a lot more attention and pic up of the shambles in the media/socials this morning. Not that it will make a difference but somewhat good to see the outside world recognising what is happening at Rovers.
  9. Lost for words this evening. Thought we had seen it all. Not any of the new lads fault, but we are down this season. That squad is frightening. This time I do not think we come back - who would have thought the days under TM would be as good as it got. Just numb.
  10. There aren’t enough people in the stadium to create any atmosphere. Which is just how they want it. We had 30,000 on less than a year ago against Burnley, riding a wave of optimism. And now look. Truly, truly sad.
  11. What have Rovers fans done to deserve this. Heartbreaking.
  12. This thread will get fired up pretty soon after this window!! Sheff Wed, Rovers and???
  13. SURELY selling Hyam is a step too far. Surely.
  14. They wont sign another CM having got 3 in (Forshaw, Baradji, Tavares) As many have said, despite that we are chronically short there in both quality and experience. Tavares looks very poor from what we have seen, granted he missed most of pre season. Will define our season.
  15. Prediction: In: none ('we tried') Out: Batty, Pears, Leonard Overall: 5/10 window. We are not stronger than before it started and are desperately light on Championship experience. Some interesting signings but we are in for a tough, tough season
  16. Had this exact thought all day. Could get ugly.
  17. Let’s be honest, if that was us we would all be delighted to get BBD. You certainly can’t say Derby aren’t going for it.
  18. Talks the talk, so far very much not delivering in results. I like him and have enjoyed his approach. Seems to be professional and ruthless, which is needed. Clearly commands respect. The Travis comments were too far though. He needs to start delivering very, very soon though. Nothing else matters. His record suggests that might be a pipe dream…….
  19. Would anyone take Dennis on a free? Released by Forest. Obviously utter crap on his loan last year, but arguably a class above anything we have now and has some pedigree. Not sure I would but better than nothing and we probably couldn’t afford him. Intrigued and excited by the Gudjohnson signing. Gamble but hopefully it pays off. Pears - what the hell is going/has gone on there? Is he just gonna disappear for the season while we pay him. Not a sniff of a transfer, hardly surprising, but it’s a bizarre situation. My guess is he was one of the ‘core’ Eustace lads, most of who are now gone.
  20. Crap afternoon. Some fight in the second half but was game over when they scored. Wasn’t disastrous. Well, Gueye was. Early, but the league table is bleak already. 1 in 4 is not good enough. Huge, huge work to do.
  21. Oh dear. Been poor with little attacking threat again. Tavares and Kargbo struggling. Hull masked a few clear issues with the team and tactics, they’re awful. 1 in 4 is not good.
