  1. Dear oh dear oh dear. Just feel quite sad. We are plumbing new depths here long after I thought we had reached our nadir. Penny for JDT’s thoughts…..
  2. Looked a frustrated figure last night - firmly distanced himself from the transfer situation. Understandably if the club has failed to land the targets he wanted. In my view, he has done a solid job so far. Extremely inconsistent but we are top 6 and into the 5th round. Easy to criticize and he cant be immune to it (Burnley, Preston games etc...) but he and the team are currently exceeding my pre-season expectations. He is clearly an ambitious manager, which can only be a good thing for Rovers. Let's see where we get to this season and enjoy the ride.
  3. strikers are coming….. I fear, will be the new ‘defenders are coming’ for the 3 seasons to come
  4. The nadir for me was Peterborough away. I was at the game and we were absolutely hopeless against a team who were bottom (I think). There was some real anger in the crowd that day, the only positive being it did seem like TM was done for.
  5. So angry with that today. In the overall context, 3rd in the league is well ahead of expectations but this is a bitter bitter pill to swallow.
  6. so so disappointing today. JDT got this badly wrong but the players also culpable. Players simply haven’t looked up for it and we have been garbage with the ball.
  7. PROBABLY IN PART BECAUSE JASON LEUTWILER WAS PLAYING AHEAD OF HIM
  8. Another feather in our academy cap. Congratulations and good luck to him. Will go down as one of TM’s worst judgement calls…..
  9. Mola was extremely impressive on Wednesday. Read the game very well against a tricky opponent in Antonio. Their first goal was a definite shove. His ability on the ball stood out - i can see what JDT likes about him if he wants to continue possession based football, building from the back etc. I would be interested to see how he would get on in a midfield 3. Tin hat time butI think he would be a better option than Travis there.
  10. Just got back after that - WHAT an evening. So proud to be a Rover tonight. Not had that much fun at a match in a long long long time. Something special happening at Rovers and we should enjoy it. Brereton Diaz is a wonderful player, joy to watch. Shout out to the 2000+ fans who were there - magnificent. Just poured a whisky - it tastes so good tonight!!!!
  11. JRC and Edun a problem on either wing. They’re not very good. Putting it mildly. Dack just can’t get into the game. Buckley. Oh dear. Markanday should have had two. Well in Vale, that will do him good. 1-1 at half time is a brilliant effort though. West Ham woke up later in the half.
  12. Unbelievable atmosphere and effort form the rovs fans - sure there’s more of us than them here! Mola is very very good. Looks a class player. Dack and Buckley not got into it yet.
  13. Worst we’ve been this season. Surprisingly poor. Come out firing second half please rovers.
  14. Corry Evans is still Corry Evans. Don’t miss watching him every week.
  15. Szmodics noticeably worse on the ball than the rest of our team
  16. Harvey Elliott is there. Seems to genuinely care for the club and have mates here. Nice to see. Dack situation is bizarre, none of us know what’s going on. It’s a shame it seems to be ending this way but JDT has said over and over again, team comes first. Maybe Dack sees it differently?
  17. Whoever runs rovers commercial department is woeful. Can’t even buy a match pass now
  18. All things considered and with the logistical challenges, a decent enough window. As JDT said - ‘above average’. Can get on board with most of the business except Szmodics. On current evidence seems incredibly limited and not sure he’s any better than anything we’ve got. In fact probably worse. Hope to be proved wrong. Credit where it’s due also to the owners. Sensibly or not they’ve turned down decent cash for Brereton and ultimately said ‘meh’ to another loss next summer. Must be nice when money doesn’t matter…. Will be an exciting season, looking forward to it
