  1. Another huge opportunity missed - imagine if we picked up more points in the 8…? Which had very winnable games. Think this will be the last time we will be top 6 this season.
  2. Every single January. One win in 8. Root cause is India and ever will be under these cretins.
  3. Hedges game reading and football brain is appalling. Has to be more aware to the rebound there
  4. The one player we have bid for starts against us this evening. What’s the odds he scores? You have to laugh or you’d cry.
  5. I think there is an important difference between the situation JDT walked into vs Eustace. JDT was promised funds for the 'project' and that summer he got some. The rug was then pulled from under him and the taps completely turned off - that's when he offered to resign. What he was promised vs what he got were different and he rightly call the club out on it. Eustace likely walked into a situation knowing there was sod all to spend and so it comes to fruition. He therefore has less room to whinge. Regardless - the fact Venkys continue to invest nothing is the bottom line. Eustace is ambitious and will likely leave. We will slide down the league and squander another top 6 opportunity, for what, the 3rd time? Rovers under Venkys is PURGATORY.
  6. Rotten day. Hanging on to top 6 somehow though. I hate Venkys - every January they squander any optimism or opportunity.
  7. Woeful. I’ve defended Cantwell but he has been embarrassing today.
  8. Buckley really growing into this. Good stuff. Pape so much better as an impact sub.
  9. Eustace was right on Dembele - looks a handful. Would be handy in this side.
  10. Bad news for Tronstad - little wonder after playing every minute. Result of a tiny stretched squad. Cantwell having a mare.
  11. Poor start. Buckley is so poor. Cantwell coming deep to look for the ball as a result. Need him further up. Gueye so much better as an impact sub.
  12. Would be hugely underwhelmed by Thomas Asante (sorry Chaddy). I hope we have set our sights higher than that. We need someone to make a difference if we want to cement a top 6 spot, not another body. I don’t think he adds much to the current squad, particularly what we need - goals. That costs money though. Sunderland are a good example of a club ‘going for it’ currently and risking the outlay for potential promotion. Nonsense we can’t afford to after our recent player sales. Of all the names mentioned I would love BBD and Cornet. But then this is Venkys so my expectations are tempered after the last 3 January windows. Imagine a prem loan will be our lot - I would take Danns from Liverpool.
  13. Sanderson channelling his inner Mokoena….the axe MKII Glorious! Excellent result. Cantwell had a hand in all 3, needs quality round him. Gueye played well, though he should have scored the Weiman chance. Britain MOTM
  14. Not currently available to buy a video game pass for this on the website - the club have probably forgotten/couldn't be arsed to organise it.
  15. A signing would be nice. Any concrete links or are Schlupp and Bamford it? Slightly more optimistic based on Eustace's comments in the LT but time is ticking....
  16. Danns at Liverpool looks good. Get him in
  17. Toth was good. Immeasurably better than Wahlstedt, even on 90 mins viewing. Good to see. Gregg really signed some crap didn’t he. Great result, no injuries. I would like a London prem team away next selfishly!
  18. Half the issue with Cantwell is the dross he’s playing with. Played a few excellent passes and the move gets broken down or messed up instantly. Sign a decent striker and it will make him look far better.
  19. refs at this level, deary me. That was stonewall. Toth looks good, very confident. Buckley is woeful.
