  1. Subbed and followed. Best of luck with it all 👍🏻
  2. Gallagher would have had a hat trick in this play-off final 😂
  3. Could you imagine Mrs T asking Jon Dahl if he wants chips? He’d be having flashbacks of Hedges at Deepdale 😂
  4. I do love this site 😂
  5. It’s a no brainer for JDT if the offer comes in. There’s not much the club can really do to stop it. Moves back with his family, top flight football, champions league and a higher wage. Can we really blame SW/GB if he leaves? 🤷🏻‍♂️
  6. How much is the club worth?
  7. I was just listening to the latest episode of the Kidder Street Noise podcast, episode 35 if anyone’s interested. (Just over the hour mark) The lad on there has said that he’s spoke with Waggott previously who has told him that a group of senior players meet regularly with Waggott. The players have asked why there is not more fans in the ground, which Waggott replied “You don’t understand the local demographic, Blackburn is a poor area” They also mentioned that Hyam wants to see a wall of fans when they walk out the tunnel and look at the Riverside. At least the players have noticed, but its hilarious that Waggott realises the demographic are not well off and still keeps the prices high 🤔
  8. If you watch the interview on Rovers TV he does mention the fans and appreciated there support over the years 😀
  9. I think Pears has been average since he’s came in. Due to his clangers in previous seasons I think if he has an ok game it makes him look better than his actual performance. I’m always sat waiting for something to go wrong with him. Two goals have been conceded this season against Huddersfield and Millwall which I believe TK would have dealt with comfortably. TK has been consistent for Rovers over the years and it would be a shame for him to go. He’s not had his best season but he’s still pulled off some unbelievable saves. I think the injury was probably affecting his performances, but he conceded two similar goals against Stoke and Birmingham (Cup) at home where it bounced just in front and he should have dealt with them. If we can re-coup a fee for TK and re-invest into a goal scorer then I’ll be happy. With Pears being on the young side, I imagine we’ll be looking to improve him and sell him on in the future. I’m yet to see that Ben Benson is capable of improving our keepers but I’m happy to be proven wrong!
  10. I've been looking at how we have fared in different statistics now our season has come to an end. I've used the app FotMob who use Opta for their stats. I've also included our rank in the league in brackets per stat. Goals per match - 1.1 (14th) Goals conceded per match - 1.2 (10th) Average possession - 53.7% (6th) Clean sheets - 15 (8th) Goals - 52 (14th) Expected goals/XG - 46.3 (20th) Shots on target per match - 3.7 (13th) Big chances created - 51 (14th) Big chances missed - 35 (22nd) Accurate passes per match - 369.5 (5th) Accurate long passes per match - 30 (1st) Accurate crosses per match - 2.8 (24th) Clean sheets - 15 (8th) Interceptions per match - 8.7 (20th) Successful tackles per match - 10.8 (3rd) Possession won in final third per match - 3.9 (18th) Clearances per match - 19.9 (11th) Penalties conceded - 1 (22nd) Penalties awarded - 2 (21st) Saves per match - 2.7 (7th) Fouls per match - 10 (18th) Yellow cards - 94 (7th) Red cards - 3 (10th)
  11. How much do clubs get for being selected on TV? Must be a decent income with nearly half our matches this season shown on TV.
  12. I managed to renew my season ticket today. The V12 website is a bit clunky so I managed to complete it all in 10 minutes. The wife hasn’t been to a game since Huddersfield at home. I’ve not renewed that season ticket, so a bit of a saving on the outgoings.
  13. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/man-united-phil-jones-tv-29832651 It must be a slow news day! Rovers have made a ‘cameo’ in the TV series Succession. Rovers v Rangers in the 2010 at the Sydney Festival of Football 😄 (Apologies if this has already been posted)
  14. GB has stated on a podcast that Morton was brought in to bridge the gap between the u23 squad and the first team. I remember hearing this and it did surprise me. It’s not like Morton has been a Harvey Elliott type signing. I’ve not been as critical as some people on Morton as he’s been an average. But I understand that if Wharton made those mistakes it’s ‘tolerable’ as he’s actually our player. If last season Van Hecke was making errors or playing average and we had Scott Wharton on the bench I feel the conversation would be similar.
  15. I have to admit I was one of the conductors of the Brereton-Diaz hype train last season. I even had a Chile flag out my window of my house after his winner v Preston at Ewood. The Preston locals on my estate absolutely loved it 😊 He’s been awful since the WC break and I feel that JDT should drop him for this one. But who replaces him? Sorba has flattered to deceive, Hedges looks a tidy player but no end product. I love Dolans work rate but again looks lost in the final third of the pitch. I watch Gallagher every week and think he has the attributes to be a half decent striker. We missed him last night, watching Barnes at least three times, hold Hyam off and trap the ball on his chest or to his feet was painful. He made it look so easy! I hope we can somehow win this one!
  16. With his back to the Dingle players when receiving the ball I kept anticipating they would catch him out eventually. It never happened and he either shrugged them off or dropped his shoulder and sent them for a hot-dog. He’s a special talent and I hope this form continues!
  17. Looks like the BBE is completely sold out…unless my phone is playing up 😂
  18. Jake Garrett 90th minute winner in-front of the BBE - I’ll take it!
