Championship season 2019-20

Popular ex-players as managers rarely works out. Woodgate has never struck me as having the noodle for management anyway. -

If we really do have aspirations of the playoffs - we should be going out to get maximum points from this and the Barnsley games. We have both Leeds and WBA coming up which, while not impossible, the likelihood of getting points is far less. -

Wigan just got a good 0-2 at Huddersfield - so not going to a walk in the park. It is about time we beat them good and proper though. -

Our GD is better than most too - which is a rare thing in many seasons. Who knows - at least we have something to play for! -

Surely in the second lineup - Chapman and travis should be switched? Wouldnt surprise me seeing TM try something like this tho -

Yes, rotating more does still favour those with deeper squads. They have deeper squads for that very reason to cover injuries, suspensions, fatigue, loss of form and whatnot. That said, extending the subs is a greater benefit to those clubs than just having the ability to rotate. Being able to bring on 5 fresh players of higher quality compared to other clubs that could maybe bring on 2 or 3 and then a couple of kids is a massive advantage. -

5 Subs per match on the face of it is good because we have some decent kids coming through. That said, this will benefit clubs with better quality in depth in their squads and is unfair on smaller clubs that do not have that benefit and have built their squad around the previous rules of 3 subs per game. They should have kept the same rules - it is the same for everybody regarding injuries and fitness. Managers should have to just rotate more each match (TM would have loved that). -

Sound a bit of a bad apple by all accounts when things are not going well. How did he get passed the TM good blokes test? -

2nd and 3rd goals by DG were class. Shout out for BB too, took his one very well. Lots of beardage on display - even moreso than usual -

Sunderland Netflix documentary
JacknOry replied to Bigdoggsteel's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Doubt it.The original series was meant to document a fallen big club coming back from the ashes to piss the championship and make it back to the PL. As it transpired it went tragically wrong but also made for good viewing as they suffered back-to-back relegations. Think they decided to give it one more shot in the hope they then walk L1. Obv, they didnt and lost out in the playoffs. Would get a bit boring now if they did another tbh - wouldnt mind them doing other clubs tho. -

Exactly, if a club puts its staff on Furlough (claiming they cannot afford to pay them and then need the government to pay them instead) and then splashes 10 million on players next season - thats about as wrong as you can get. That is what the chairman is saying. Clubs that are still themselves paying their staff should not be at a disadvantage to those that are not. -
Sick of it tbh. I bet that 'for the want of a better word' moron was not posting here, there would be a hell of a lot more people that do. This site is like the 'Chaddy Show'. Half of the posts are around his warped mind and opinions. Tiresome, if i'm not banned, i'm out anyway.
-
That does not even come close to answering my question. You are also telling us as FACT that the other 3 players will not test positive. Damn Chadster, very medically experienced guy for a forklift driver. L Lets say we have 5 first team players out due to COVID - is that fair? What does EB fitness levels have to do with anything?
-
Ok so if COVID is now making its way through our squad - do you think it is fair that the season continues Chaddy?

First few posts are a little off and nobody has wished him well. I know its not a death sentence and he has been a liability when played out of position but this is not good news for him, his family or the club.\ Best wishes Benno.
