  1. Having read their forums, he is actually well liked. They say he holds the ball up well, has a good touch, brings others into play and is a real handful for defenders. Only problem is that he doesn't score goals and is always injured. https://forums.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/the-keinan-davis-thread.2415/
  2. A scoring record to compare with a couple of our other high scoring strikers, sign him up.
  3. The lad i suggested the other day from Bristol City who was also on loan at Blackpool impressed far more than Heneghan did - their fans say Heneghen is extremely slow.
  4. Ideally, we need a couple of CB's so who is to say this guy and Wharton are both being considered for the squad next season? Either way, we never spend money on the defense unless its 300k odd, so not buying this anyway.
  5. I have been reading the Lincoln and Northampton forums and he has greatly impressed at both clubs. Praised for his attitude, reading of the game, for being a goal threat in set plays and the fact he is a left footed CB. Either get him in the squad, send him off to L1 or get rid if he is not deemed good enough.
  6. The interest shown would suggest that a few clubs think he is Championship standard - their own chairman is quoted as saying that 5 CH clubs have enquired about him. Sure, he might be fanning the flames and might be actively looking to sell him as his club needs money. As for Wharton, he needs to be part of the squad or at least sent to a L1 club this coming season.
  7. I expect us to finish one place higher and 3 points more than this season - slow build and all that.
  8. True but there must be a bit more to it than just stats. I dont see 5 championship clubs showing an interest in Wharton. QPR, Boro, Preston and us (cant remember the other) have shown an interest in this guy.
  9. Does seem a little odd but perhaps Wharton may be part of the squad next season, who knows.
  10. Preston have bid for Goode apparently. 1 million wanted by Northampton.
  11. Surprised me too when i looked it up tbh. Although we are equal 3rd with about 4 or 5 teams. The point was mainly that we dont really create that much and when you consider AA seemingly couldnt miss at the end of the season, that is probably why our conversion stats look so good. Creativity is something e need to work on but of course, keeping them out of the other end is even more important,
  12. It's a very good point. You can point to Birmingham for this as well and now Sheff Wed. It does seem that the EFL is very selective on how they handle each club depending on their attendance and thus viewing figures. Birmingham was given a punishment that had no effect at all and Sheff Wed have one that should not be too difficult to overcome next season unless they are completely pants. Derby will likely get a similar treatment with a deduction coming next season.
  13. That is not completely true. We were second bottom in shots on goal (including blocked shots) in the league. To counter that, we were surprisingly equal 3rd for the conversion of our shots which basically means, we did not create all that much but were very good at taking our chances when we did. https://www.beinsports.com/au/efl-championship/statistics
  14. Points deductions all over the shop. Derby next?
  15. It was both in one go. Really rash challenge that got him sent off and three-months out injured. You can see in the clip that SG was not happy about it.
  16. No, you said you were surprised they signed him. A poster asked why and you said because you saw him against us and he was poor. So, essentially, you judged him and that transfer on one game. How he 'fits in' is just your deflection now, after the point.
  17. To early for Travis as captain for me but certainly one for the future. Lenihan should get it for now.
  18. Most of those were current internationals Chaddy...
  19. Decent pedigree and previously wanted by Rangers. At least it would be an actual defender that we own for once. I would still look at bringing Tosin back on loan though. That would pretty much sort CB out. Then just a keeper or two and a LB to go.
