Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Rogerb replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Trouble is overhauling of the squad is going to be an annual occurrence moving forward so results will continue to drop off each season by your reckoning until the inevitable happens. -

Above the wage threshold and being shunted towards the exit door. -
Depends who we are losing to. A draw is a better result than a loss against those around us.

Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Rogerb replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Lancs live will be getting a ban no doubt from Suhail. -
If Nixon is correct about the five competitive game clause it is not beyond the realms of possibilities that Adam is no longer a palace player when he reaches that number if Anderson is first choice and stays fit at the World Cup.

Joe Boggan should benefit from playing in front of a decent crowd. FC United having a decent season pushing for promotion to national League north.

Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach

The last time we were under embargo the wage ceiling was £10k per week for any free transfer or loan. That was ten years ago. Presumably the imposed wage ceiling has increased in the meantime. We might be better off under embargo for the quality of player we could attract without spending any fees on transfers on European projects on low wages. -
It would seem that the make up of the shareholder base is very fragmented from what I can gather the major financial institutions have steered clear of investment in the company. Consequently there appears a lack of clout within the shareholder base to call the board to account

Venky’s v Indian Government (a)
Rogerb replied to tomphil's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
£4.8million circa was allocated in shares to Venkys London Limited in early October. Not sure if this has been spotted previously apologies if it has. -
Olson on as an 11th minute substitute.
-
Pure speculation on my part but he is approaching 150 appearances for the club perhaps there is an element of avoiding paying an appearance bonus at play.
-
Wasn't £10K/per week the ceiling when we were under embargo in Gary Bowyer's time around ten years ago. What you could get for that ten years ago vastly exceeds what you can get now.
-
I can report that an old school friend knows the family. I asked what was happening with Pixie as he is known . Had it confirmed that their is substance in the opinion that he is being moved towards the exit due to his wage being above the new ceiling.
-
True . However with Hickman rumoured to be on £20k per week it's not beyond the realms of possibilities bearing in mind the quality of the other two mentioned previously when Broughton upgraded contracts.

On line search of Harry Pickering wage produced that figure whether it is correct or not is open to debate.
-
Reading snippets on line apparently this is a record quarterly loss in the firms history. The Indian financial press are unconvinced about their management ability to turn things round citing reduced profitability and increasing costs. They highlight the next quarter results as a clear indicator of the firms direction. There is definitely trouble at t mill. Judging by how our club has been run it would be no surprise to see losses continue.
-
Just my opinion but I feel we are back to the early days of their ownership.
-
Believed to be on a basic of £15k per week so being positioned towards the exit door. It's gone on for years where players are not selected to encourage them to move.
-
Share price fell 8 per cent on Friday after reporting a trading loss in second quarter.

He's the man in form but it is very short term in view of his age.
