  1. Waggott could do with another 10000 chaddies!
  2. Eight games ago we were 12 points ahead of Rotherham even with yesterday's result we are still 11 points clear. That's with us getting 1 point in 18. Just don't see the gap being overturned .You would have to think Ipswich are gone and with Bolton having not been paid again and Wheaters straight red you would think they are all but gone.
  3. Nuneaton have plenty of their own problems so don't think Coventry moving to play there will happen
  4. Marvin Emnes having a trial at Notlob according to the Bolton news
  5. Think a better poll would have been do you think we have made progress in the last two years under TM? Bearing in mind all the previous shite under the V 's I would say yes. It's like trying to turn an oil tanker around it takes a long time to change direction. League position wise we are where we were before Christmas. There was no call for a poll on TM then.
  6. Nobbenders should boost it a bit can't see much scope elsewhere with season tailing off.
  7. Would be good if Brad Freidel could be persuaded to work with Raya. A good friend made the comment on Tuesday while watching Chorley that Raya needed to be working with an experienced keeper as competition to keep him focused. Clearly that's not Leutwiler
  8. Keaton Jennings recalled for third test tomorrow
  9. The chance of that now increased by WI captain Jason Holder now banned from the match for slow over rate.
  10. Denley out for 6 to a borderline embarrassing shot having escaped an lbw on 0
  11. Suspect Keaton may turn out like Graham Hick. A player who scores a lot of runs at Championship level but finds converting starts to good scores in tests beyond him. Could be good news for Lancashire though. Would we have stayed up with Jennings having a full season?
  12. Reading this Mowbray is saying Harry needs to be fit enough to play the high press and swarm before he will be considered.
  13. Was a Roy Hodgson signing I think. Think an Italian Jason Lowe. Games seemed to pass him by. Not up to the speed and intensity of the Premier League
  14. Used to wander all over the place did George leaving his right back exposed to a 2 on 1. Definitely not one for TM
  15. Hugill didn't make a start for West Ham but has 22 appearances for boro so the way he will look at it is he was only sat on his back side for half a season and has an increase in his weekly earnings for playing at the same level
  16. Josh King had numerous hamstring issues under Bowyer doesn't seem to have worked out so badly for him after his move to Bournemouth
  17. England 49-7 after 21 overs disgraceful. Jennings top score with 17
  18. Came across a programme this evening from 2014/15 season Jan 17th Wigan away. League table within has us 10th P25 w9 d8 l8 pts 35 and six points off the play offs perhaps were back to where we were four years ago but on an upwards progression this time!
  19. Can't say I was at all impressed by James Collins yesterday. Looked an accident waiting to happen at any time played numerous balls putting fellow defenders under immediate pressure
  20. The problem with both Olssons is they couldn't get a block on the cross coming in.
  21. Had the linesman done a proper job the goal wouldn't have stood and we wouldn't be having the inquest and castigation of Raya's role
  22. Was right in line with that shot it was moving all over the place Raya did well to get something on it the way it dipped and swerved at the last second in particular
  23. Can remember Sir Roger Jones keeping us in the tie in the first match
  24. Was around 1973/74 when we played Altrincham in the cup 0-0 at Ewood and 2-0 to Rovers in the replay with goals from Don Martin and Kit Napier if I remember right. It was an afternoon midweek game the replay. I was at school in Altrincham then and the entire school shut early so all who wanted could go to the game. Had a lot of ribbing after the first game those goals shut em up
  25. Shelvey was absent for Newcastle yesterday having been to see a specialist in Barcelona midweek about a long standing thigh injury so that may not happen at the mo
