The what ifs.. Had Brereton scored, 1-0 would surely win this?

This is the first time in a longtime I don’t get Rovers on ESPN+. Maybe I should consider myself fortunate…

I understand those who say we will take a drubbing, but I also acknowledge those who say Rovers sometimes obtain the unobtainable, when least expected. So, we have no idea what to expect. I am afraid based on our recent run of results, not to expect a flurry of goals by our lads. 7 goals, in 9 games. I do not go against us often, but I will take the hosts this time, 1-0. I hope we obtain the unobtainable.

When Rovers fell apart last year, I thought, "thank goodness, that will never happen again." I was so wrong; today, we dropped from 3rd to 5th, and in the next week, three teams are poised to pass us (West Brom, Norwich, Luton and/or Millwall). And, we are yet to add a player in this window. Discouraging. Tomasson was short of players today- Brereton, Britain, both Wharton's, Buckley, etc- which is an issue Broughton needs to address. So far, I'm definitely more a jdt supporter than I am of Broughton. There's no way they can look at our team, and say, "here are 17 1st-teamers we can depend upon." The academy youth are diamonds in the rough (or rhinestones). We simply need better players who can win, right now.

It’s on ESPN+ again today. I woke up at 4:00 AM here in Texas, getting ready for this one!

I will complain when/if we lose. For now, I think we’ve got a fairly good opportunity to get the W.

I like Dacky to create chances. I have to go with Rovers in this one, vs 20th team on the table, COYB!

Looking at our 11, I am feeling a bit like I was, going into the Cup match vs West Ham. I didn’t feel great about that either, and I was surprised. Hopefully, a good selection, and we go forward in the FA Cup.

Agreed. We MUST add players. No way we can maintain the playoff place with all our injuries, and not adding a couple of players, particularly, in midfield. It’s not just injuries, we seriously need upgrades. Wishing we had a decent bench, too.

Great way to start the New Year. Still in 3rd, and not looking quite as shaky as before. But, no mistaking it, Cardiff can’t score, and they gave us lots of worries in that regard. Now for FA Cup match. I would like to see us go fairly deep in the competition. We can take Norwich.
