  1. I think we might just sneak in the play offs but it will be close. Looking at the remaining fixtures, I see an absolute maximum of 7 wins (if we start scoring again). Sprinkle in a few draws and I think best case we end on 78/79 points, which would be enough. As I say though, I think that's best case and more realistically we're potentially fairly early in a classic Mowbray death spiral.
  2. People equating Lewis Travis to Jason Lowe ought to be banned from watching football. Travis offers far more in terms of work rate, ability, defensive cover than Lowe ever did. Yes he might not be great in terms of passing/play making but you can't have 3 of that sort of player in the middle. Travis in an important player for us.
  3. On paper a decent point but let’s face it, they’re crap and we don’t look like scoring even if we played all night.
  4. Carroll upset he can’t find his way out of Nyambe’s pocket
  5. Well if Diaz is injured longer term that’s this season fully done. Not signing a striker continues to look more and more insane.
  6. Rankin Costello looks like a pub player we’ve picked up because we’re short of numbers. Constantly the source of play breaking or slowing down.
  7. People talk about Gallagher being played out of position but that shite just proves he doesn’t have a strikers instinct. Should be anticipating the defender missing that.
  8. What is the commentator on about? Yeah crap punch but regardless of offside that was a clear foul on Kaminski
  9. Why is JRC anywhere near our starting 11?!? Absolute madness
  10. Our midfield might as well not be on the pitch. Passengers.
  11. Gallagher is so shite. I shouldn’t be surprised but his constant ineptitude still manages to wind me up.
  12. I mean you can look at the myriad posts either side of your nonsense that agree it was a harsh yellow…
  13. Think that’s harsh tbh. If that had happened to one of our players we’d have been annoyed.
  14. Some people have such a lack of objectivity. Ref has been fine.
  15. Are you pair watching the same game? Clear dive ffs
  16. Absolutely pathetic from Buckley. Usually good for a yellow card from a silly lunge as well so will have to be very careful.
  17. We’re just consistently atrocious on live TV. That issue coupled with the inevitable February/March death spiral means I have very little hope for the remainder of the season.
  18. I wouldn't class Mowbray as a club great. However, the bold is really unfair. We know the real shit stain who sent us to League One. We got relegated with a frankly ridiculous 51 points on goal difference after Mowbray had won us nearly 1.5 points a game.
  19. I didn't realise Bournemouth were still in the FA Cup. Very favourable draw as well this weekend. Hopefully they crack on and get some serious fixture congestion in second half of the season. That said, they have the squad numbers to potentially sustain playing 3 times a week.
  20. It's hard to look at the (relative) lack of activity from Rovers, whilst seeing rivals for automatic promotion substantially strengthen. I understand there is significant financial disparity (whilst they have parachute payments). I'm not suggesting we mortgage the house but at the end of the day, we're likely to be in line for a substantial BBD windfall in the summer if we don't go up. Surely we could have shown a little more ambition, given this is the first season in 10 years where we have a sniff of going back up. Feels like we're happy just being up there and that we're quite content just to see what happens, which I suspect might be 6th at best if we get a few injuries in the run in.
  21. If Bournemouth don't go up whilst they have parachute payment cash, they'll be back in their natural position (i.e. League 1/2) before long due to FFP. I for one can't wait. Absolute joke that a team like that can be more of a draw than Rovers.
  22. I can’t believe anyone at our club would be dense enough to sell him to Bournemouth. £3m in to potentially fuck up £100m+ promotion bounty.
  23. Looks like Bielik has knackered his shoulder scoring a cracking equaliser for Derby.
  24. He could still get that in the summer, plus the £2m transfer fee going straight in his own pocket as a signing bonus. I don’t begrudge players wanting to make as much money as they can in what is a very short career. However, this decision seems to defy logic. Personally if it’s a club outside the Championship we should cash in. If he wants to go to Bournemouth he can train with the u23s and eat the fines if he doesn’t turn up.
