Khadra having an absolute shocker. Crap delivery and awful in open play. If the penalty has effected him so much he shouldn’t be playing. -

No Dack. Disappointing. Think it would have been a big boost for him just to sit on the bench. -
21 Years since our League Cup win in 2002

Jeff Kenna being on the bench in the QF is the most bizarre fact. I thought he'd been long gone by that point! -
Are Rovers a 'soft' team?
Displaced Rover replied to jim mk2's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I don't think we're soft, we're just not very good. A surprisingly strong defence (no one saw that coming at the start of the year did they), coupled with a freak run of scoring from a previously much maligned player has had us well above where we are in terms of overall quality. Did anyone think we were a top 6 side pre-season? I honestly think stuff has just stopped going our way. There was a large element of luck with much of our winning run. -

Hope you enjoy! Few things to remember: 1) It used to be cleaner/well maintained 2) The beer selection inside is crap 3) You're unlikely to see us score a goal based on current form I'm sure you'll have a great time though, nothing like watching Rovers live. -

It's over anyway as far as I'm concerned. We have literally no one to stick the ball in the net. We could've played all last night and wouldn't have come close to scoring. We were in the with best shout of getting back to the Premier League in the last 10 years and we've totally fucked it. January was the time to show a little ambition, bring in a goalscorer and get back to where we belong. Alas, we bought a kid who has never played a game of league football and a bunch of midfielders, utterly unforgivable. -
Attendances: A cause for concern
Displaced Rover replied to SIMON GARNERS 194's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This is another pointless move that I'm semi convinced is to make it seem like they're doing something about attendances whilst secretly hoping it has no impact. Why would anyone who hasn't bought a ST/HST buy this at £20 a game? The issue at that point is clearly ability/desire to get to every home game. Miss one you're at £25 a game, miss two and you're at £33. Everyone repeat again - Bundles. Make. No. Sense. If they want to help the team, they'd be better off looking at a tenner a ticket for the last couple of games if we're still in the mix. -
Brad’s is impressive but I always felt like he saved more than that? I remember usually being confident he had a save in him.

Awful footballer, stealing a wage. To top it off he also seems like a massive bell end from some of the stories that have appeared around his interaction with fans.

Not many goals in that team... -
The other way of looking at it is he achieved his dream, gave us all fantastic memories but didn't want to continue to pump endless sums of money in. I'm fine with that. Beyond the title he left an incredible legacy in the form of the stadium and training ground/academy infrastructure. It's a shame the ground is looking shabby and they're trying their best to get rid of the training ground. We're still reaping the benefits of the academy, the delta between our league position and budget is driven by the academy graduates and the pipeline continues to look strong.

I feel like Diaz being out might force Tony's hand re Dack reintroduction. That said maybe not the best conditions to throw him into. Perhaps better to hope it's postponed given the lack of forward options.
