  1. Again you seem to be struggling to understand peoples arguments when it comes to finance. When dealing with the difference in percentages Accrington will be further adrift from clubs like Sunderland, Ipswich and Portsmouth than we are the likes of Norwich.
  2. Are you really comparing Accrington Stanley a club who at the turn of the century were in the 7th tier and are now 10th in the 3rd tier of English football with Blackburn Rovers who a decade ago were a mid table Premiership club and are now stuck going nowhere in mid table of the 2nd tier. Talk about putting our great club down.
  3. It can hardly have come as a shock to anyone that Williams has spent most the season in the treatment room. It needed investment but it didn't need cash spent on 3 players, even Tony can only get one on the pitch at a time. And it particularly didn't need 350K spent on and a 4 year deal given to Tony mates son. Just think about that he spent more on a reserve goal keeper than he has spent on the entire defence in 4 years. Not to mention the fact that Pears is a very poor goalkeeper.
  4. I don't think he will get a retrospective ban as he can only get one if the officials say they didn't see it and I don't see how they can all say they didn't see it considering the ball was on head of the player who was kicked and they gave a goal kick.
  5. Whether it is accidental or not is irrelevant his foot is 6ft up in the air and his studs are in an opponents face. It's reckless ,has endangered his opponent and is therefore a red card.
  6. I thought Reading looked a very good side, dominated the game but it just wasn't their day they could have stayed there all night and wouldn't have scored. I've been very impressed with Reading and their manager whenever I have seen them this season.
  7. Lambert was a good manager until he took the Villa job. That job seems to have destroyed him and ever since he lost it he has walked around with a massive chip on his shoulder.
  8. Morecambe seems to be the home for ex Rovers youngsters. Although given how well they are going at the moment I doubt they would want him. I said it a while ago now but I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if this lad is playing non league football in a few years time.
  9. Nyambe was immense today they got no joy down his side and he used his strength set up the move for the opening goal. Douglas was by a mile our worst defender today he was skinned multiple times and gave away so many silly freekicks.
  10. I don't think he did mean any danger but the fact that his studs were up in Fry's face means that he did endanger his opponent. It was as blatant a red card as you could wish to see on a football pitch and if it had been in the other box you would have been certain it was a red card. I remember Nani got sent of for United in the Champions League a few year back now for something similar but not as dangerous.
  11. A fantastic reaction save, probably the best save Kaminski has made in a Rovers shirt. I thought he let himself down a bit by saying he hadn't seen it. But sadly that sort of hypocrisy is common among managers, they always see the decisions that go against them but never seem to see the ones that go for them. That is one reason why nothing happens about the terrible standard of officiating in this country. Mowbray has regularly come out and correctly criticised the standard of Championship officiating. Today he should have come out and said clear pen and red card, we've had a few go against us this season and I've been regularly questioning the standard of officiating. Instead he hides behind Wenger answer, so now the next time he moans when something goes against us he will just look like he is making excuses rather than actually being concerned about the standard of officiating.
  12. To be fair to Warnock and I think he disgraced himself today with his conduct towards Branthwaite but I really do think there is a some sort of agenda against him from officials.
  13. There was no intent from Branthwaite, he didn't even know Fry was there. Morsy only had one thing in his mind and that was to take Travis down which fortunately didn't cause serious injury but it could quite easily have done. Branthwaite was a red card but I don't believe that there was any intent from the lad. Morsy on the other hand is by the law a booking (although I would like to see that changed) but he only ever had one intent to foul Travis Dack's injury was nothing to do with Morsy.
  14. If that put your players of their game that massively then they need to toughen up, that football things will go against you sometimes. It's unlike Warnock to have such a soft hearted group of players. Morsy aside of course, who committed the worst challenge today when he deliberately hacked Travis down from behind making absolutely no attempt for the ball, with only one thing in his mind.
  15. They didn't even try to last time. You'd hope if they go up this year which I think they will, that they will give it more of a go next season.
  16. Middlesbrough are nothing special yet they are seventh in the league and Warnock has taken them from 21st to the cusp of the play offs in months. No one in this league perhaps with the exception of Norwich are anything special, which is why Mowbray's slow build and journey speeches are such a nonsense.
  17. Just never in the game. I felt sorry for the lad he is clearly miles out of his depth and to be brought on as a sub and then to be subbed is humiliating but it had to be done.
  18. Warnock was so concerned about Fry that instead of going straight to check on him at the end of the game he decided to try and bully an 18 year old kid.
  19. A very disjointed game not at all helped by silly fouls and injuries. But grinding out a 1-0 win is what we have needed especially on the road, I might have forgotten one but the last one I can remember was at Hull in August 2019. I know a lot of Tony disciples won't like how we won today as it is all about style to them but if we are going to make the playoffs then we are going to need to grind out a fair few more wins like that on the road. Give me a win like that today over sticking 4 into a 10 man Coventry or 3 into 10 man Preston any day. Kaminski was excellent, the save low down from Tavernier was very good. I thought the save from the header at the corner was as good as he has made all season, fantastic reactions and fortunately then it went to the young lad Wood. Lenihan was immense today and I thought that it was by far his best performance of the season and if we have any outside hopes of top 6 then he is going to have to play like that for the next 4 months. Man of the match for me thought was Nyambe, imperious defensively and using his strength to start the move for the goal. Douglas terrible again, skinned to easy and gave away far too many stupid freekicks.
  20. Never seen the bloke look so happy and smiling during the game. The Teeside air obviously agrees with him as bar the very odd decision to bring Buckley on for Johnson he had a very good day today.
  21. Out of order that from Warnock. Yes it was a bad challenge and a red card but I genuinely don't think that there was any malice in it from Branthwaite, unlike Morsy who brought Travis down from behind with absolutely zero intention of playing the ball.
  22. This young lad Wood hasn't been far of being our best player.
  23. This has been one awful game of football. Whether it be due to stupid fouls or players down injured it has been stop start for pretty much 90 minutes.
  24. The Branthwaite challenge has changed the game but not just because it should have been a pen and a red card, but also because this young lad Wood they've brought on to replace Fry is absolutely miles out of his depth.
