  1. Are you in Bangkok? Christ! I wish I was back there in Don Mueang with my wife's family..... Beats being here in freezing cold Sweden.
  2. Nail and head. I've never known a season start off with good passing football with players playing in the correct position ( well almost) to this abject shite I've witnessed tonight. Wtf is Evans still doing at our club? Sorry to say..... Tony's confused and the players moreso. Time to move on TM... And apart from Keane and Coyle I've kept my gob shut.
  3. Root canal treatment anyone.? Rovers matchday threads are a difficult read but I'm now on board with a change of manager. Treading water with players who are much better than being played ad - hoc. No direction and worse, not being played in the right positions. Even a plank like me can see that.
  4. Don't remind me..... I'm a massive Kate Bush fan and she did a concert there before disappearing off the live scene. I was just to young to get there by myself. Her next live gigs here in the UK were 22 nights at Hammersmith which sold out in 15 minutes. Another venue in Manchester which was acceptable was the academy... Seen Marillion there a couple of times.
  5. Im not a season pass holder so audio only for me. I'm currently resident in Sweden, I'll keep up to date via the BBC sports website. COYB.
  6. KGH was a great venue for music concerts and more. I used to frequent the place monthly lin the early 80s when the new wave of British heavy metal took off. Had some great nights there and saw some great bands. Last time I visited was a few years ago to see Jethro Tull. All seats full I think. Underated venue IMHO and as good an atmosphere as Manchester Apollo. Miss those days.
  7. It's got to be the last time TM plays Gallagher out wide, Armstrong out of position and Rothwell out of position. Its confusing to everyone and I'm sure TM doesn't really know who should play where. Im a Mowbray fan but I'm getting a tad tired now.
  8. My memory isn't what it was but I'm sure Branagan scored a 30 yard screamer v wolves early 80s. Wind assisted and chucking it down. That was after he combed his hair on the way to the goal!
  9. Brilliant work from Dolan.. Well done Dack.
  10. One of my best Rovers memories that night at the Baseball ground. Brilliant atmosphere and a packed away end. Didn't Speedie get assaulted by a Rams fan on the way off the pitch? What a night that was.
  11. Match day threads on here are brutal.... 2-1
  12. Young Harvey Elliot.... Take him off and give him a breather.
  13. Just had a look at the Wednesday forum... Maybe Chansri looking to sell Windass in January and Pulis not happy. Feel sorry for Wednesday supporters. Quickly becoming a basket case of a club. BTW... My wife is Thai and I showed her how to prepare Horlicks one night as it was freezing outside. A heart warming drink is Horlicks.... Now considering my Thai wife is a chef and a bloody good one at that, she loved the Horlicks I prepared for her,you would think she would follow the way I did it. Nope Boiled the feckin milk in the kettle and ruined it...... And the Horlicks. Sounds like Sheffield Wednesday have one cock of an owner.
  14. Hope Dave does well. I knew him as a tall lanky teenager who tried his hand at cricket with Stacksteads in the Ribblesdale league. Decent bowler but an accident waiting to happen with the bat 🙂🙂 Good luck to him.
  15. It's a 90 minute game. Christ!... Have some patience man.
  16. Wayne Biggins sprang to mind.
  17. Big following from Rovers. We filled the terracing behind the goal and we had the paddock in front of the main stand aswell. Kicked off in the tunnel at the end of the game iirc. Ray Harford v a Barnsley player. Maybe ex Burnley player but can't recall his namem
  18. Seems the ifollow thread has died a death to the detriment of match day threads so as I'm sick and tired of buying match day video passes only to find out that audio is available I'll post the link that a generous poster provided in the Bristol City match day thread. Im an overseas fan based in Sweden and have had conflicting views on who can watch, when and where. Hope fully this will clear things up to a point but for those of us overseas don't hold your breath. According to the EFLi follow app / website the next game we can't view but audio only is the FA Cup game v Doncaster. So hopefully I will be able to watch the Rotherham game. https://www.efl.com/broadcast-schedule.
