This is what happens when you don't pay good money for strikers or attacking players. A major lack of goals due to a lack of serious spending will cost us big time.

These things need airing through a more credible public source. Ideally national press if the locals won't publish. It always comes out as hearsay via the forum or Twitter and half the fans who attend don't realise what is really going on. All it does is cause divide... and surprise when one fan wants a board member gone and the other has no idea why.

When was the last time a club got promoted by only signing cheap players? Genuine question.

CB, RW and ST still worry me. If they can keep the squad together with the current additions and add the above, we might be on to something this season. I still want to see some better money thrown at two key positions... be it centre back, right wing or a striker. I'm also pleased I won't be watching Dolan this season. Sorry to those whom that may offend.

Out of interest is Axel Henriksson someone people would have heard of before we were linked? Not saying that makes him good or bad.. Just curious to hear if we are signing a "known" player.

It's absolutely inexcusable to not renew these contracts earlier.

My biggest gripe in losing Brittain isn't seeing him move clubs, it's the club he's moving to and the fact it's totally unnecessary. He is the perfect Rovers Championship player who should be staying with us a long time as we push to actually do something. It shouldn't have been hard to convince him to stay, so the question has to be asked to the board why can't we? He's not good enough to attract Premier League interest, so why the hell are we losing him and why is he so quick to jump ship in what will be a Eustace style sideways and confusing switch to Boro. On top of that it's the usual missed full revenue because Suhail Pasha is unable to orchestrate contract renewals proactively, or influence the owners to allow for attractive renewals of our better players into the budget. A basic function for an employee of his "level". The circumstances for this departure are horrible again, unacceptable. We have to get Pasha and Venky's out of this club. As a fan it's my main ambition for the season, it's all I want to see happen at the club now. Their time is up. Players want to leave because the club isn't managed properly, managers want to leave because the club isn't managed properly. When is the entire fan base going to wake up and see? The majority have. Sell the club and allow owners to come in who will appoint a proper CEO, and reconnect the fans at one of the best clubs in England. They should be ashamed. Get the club listed for sale!!

Let's crank it up and get them all gone this season!

The amount of money being spent by Rovers is pathetic.

Can someone please name the signings who are going to start the first game of the season and make a difference? Ideally would like Rudy Gestede to answer that. Embarrassing stuff. Get the owner's to INVEST properly in the first XI before it's too late. That means at least...... a winger (or 2), a STRIKER, an established centre midfielder and an athletic centre back!

So far it's a window of cheap, under delivering and zero ambition. They are working within a barely "Championship" budget and planting leaks to players we have no intention of spending the fee required. Venky's Out, Pasha Out! It won't change until they are gone.

I'm surprised Ismael doesn't want more players. 2 more is hardly the rebuild we were promised by Gestede or the exciting time. 4 - 5 more would be nice. We have been sleeping for weeks now, snail's pace and little ambition as always.

A centre back with pace and power is still needed. Fairly certain Ismael will want that but it will cost you more than £500k.

We will need to replace Brittain's crossing ability, so whoever comes in needs to either be very good technically or extremely quick instead. Nyambe is neither, and is a downgrade.

Salford City and Marine FC have also signed 3 guys, so that isn't really the point. If that's enough to keep you happy given the bigger picture then it does seem fairly shortsighted. I'm not saying this is you but the happy-clapping through leadership negligence, watching former players, current players, former managers, longstanding staff members, facilities and an entire women's team suffer at the hands of terrible ownership and a disingenuous board and accepting that is also very, very boring and wrong. There are some major problems at the club currently, one is no CEO and another is no one you would trust to identify and appoint a competent one. It currently isn't sustainable, there is an ownership issue, there is a board issue, major mistakes are being made... and it can't be ignored by everyone.

It's the perfect player for Blackburn Rovers to unsuccessfully bid on then isn't it.

Carter might not be present and Batth gone, yet they aren't submitting good enough offers on centre backs. Messing around for months. We need two. The player catch up and need to spend more is our own making due to total negligence. Sort it out and get fit players with good pedigree into training now!! Offer acceptable contracts and rebuild some spirit with long term objectives/ incentives and start acting like a serious football club..... or sell up and give it to someone who will.

Rovers seem experts in having offers rejected. Transfers and first team contracts.

We're actually in big trouble here with the limited fees spent and squad unrest on the contract front.
