  1. Not sure about throwing matches, that is mainly because Mowbray is a dick head and a shit manager. But the people in charge definitely do not want promotion. That has been made clear over the last 12 years.
  2. Whether you've bought a ticket or not you definitely have the right to complain. To be fair if you aren't complaining then you aren't really paying attention.
  3. It's sickening what is happening throughout the whole of football. Just look down the road, another well run club sold off and decimated by a foreign private equity firm or whatever the fuck they are. I'm reaching the point whereby if the clubs are not at the very least half owned and controlled by the fans/members then I don’t think I would want to go back. We have no power as fans under the current system, we have been turned into a commodity when in reality we are the most important part of the game.
  4. Well they will be forced to sooner or later as it's all a crumbling wreck. It is all very deliberate.
  5. It's almost as though there is a deliberate strategy to get rid of the fans.
  6. Well the figures show that at least 10000 have walked away. Some due to just plain disinterest and others as a way of taking a stand. That is the reason I have never been back. It's the only way I as an individual can have any power in the situation. Some people like to throw around insults to those of us who have walked away in protest but I can say that I have not financially contributed towards the desecration of something that we all hold sacred.
  7. Both of the above mentioned have ambition and would be making a solid attempt at promotion. That is contrary to the goals of the people running the club.
  8. Was more hope than expectation really. I really think that he will get a three year deal here. He has achieved the targets set out by the people in charge. Mid table finish and a high turnover of players.
  9. If the fans had a controlling stake then a dick head like Mowbray would have been kicked to the kerb a long time ago.
  10. I've never really thought anything of Preston. That whole city status thing really did piss me off though. I always found them to be arrogant yet bitter and also incredibly insular. Constantly banging on about how big city Preston is soooo much better than that shithole Blackburn..... blah blah blah Always had the feeling they were trying to convince themselves more than anyone else. I would always remind them that Preston is a shit town just as Blackburn is a shit town. The main difference is people have heard of Blackburn because we have a successful team.
  11. They are not trying to get the stadium condemned so they can bulldoze it and build a shit hotel or something.
  12. It will be either a never has been or a never will be. Either way I predict a mid table finish. Unless of course someone wants to make a few quid off a relegation.
  13. It's alomst as though they are deliberately trying to get people to stop coming 🤔
  14. Seeing this makes me piss blood. When every other local club can make real effort to engage fans and attract support I can see that Rovers are once again trying to deliberately erode the fanbase. Fuck off Waggott and fuck off Venkys. I wouldn't give them the skin off my shit. They are nothing.
  15. Great article and thanks for all you have done Glen. As I have stated many times before, relegation from the Premier League was deliberate as is our mid table position within this league. The turmoil and state of limbo that we have been in over the last 12 years has all been by design to benefit those that lurk in the background. There is no hope in trying to reason with the people in charge. Our only real option is to pressure the government and the football governing bodies to change the rules around club ownership. Fans should have a minimum 51% controlling stake in their clubs. This is by no means a perfect solution but it's a damn sight better than the current order of things.
  16. Tony Mowbray is a dick head. I don't care where he is next season as long as it isn't Rovers.
  17. I think the goal from day 1 was always to have the club mid table in the second division with a high turnover of playing staff. Given the known involvement of agents within the club I don't think it is too far fetched to say that it the case.
  18. Preston to win 3-1 Any guesses at what team that dick head will put out? Pickering in goal maybe?
